The visuals of the new one was amazing, but expressions of the original one was much more better, you could see easier how the felt in the original.

tbh this movie was amazing and I preferred the new song of "be prepared" over the original along with some other scenes from the remake pff- but still, nothing beats the original.Β

It was a bit boring and drawn out. Why did you cut be prepared down to a really short snippet then add like ten minutes of Simbas hair tuft going back to rafiki and of the mouse climbing to scars cave?

I thought it was fine, but that it really didn't add anything interesting or exciting to the story (or a reason for the remake to exist...) and in a few cases, like Be Prepared, they really took stuff away. I was so disappointed with this, the original is such a great song.

I thought it was okay, but I've always preferred the Broadway version so I didn't have very strong feelings about this version versus the original. Still mad about the fact that they changed Scar's mane color, though >: (

the mane on scar was actually logical, though- since males with stronger testosterone would receive the darkest mane(hence Mufasa's mane being the darkest out of the brothers), it indicates he would be the healthier/strongest lion and also more attractiveΒ
