For our Pumpkin Carving Contest: The Lady of the Stars has heard about some Halloween traditions and she thinks Jack-o'-lanterns sound like a lot of fun! She has grown hundreds of pumpkins of many sizes, colors, and shapes for your Senshi to carve and she wants to hold a contest! Surely you won't let her down? Not when she looks so excited?
Somehow... Cepheus also got talked into holding one by a few of the Rifters (no one knows how...), and so they also have some pumpkins for carving.

Cordelia and Les have celebrated Halloween together since they were wee tots. Trick or treating, toilet papering teacher's lawns, and watching silly movies were a staple until they graduated to parties, horror movies, and passing out candy. The one tradition that never escaped the Girtab's attention was the pumpkin carving. No matter their age, they'd spend a night drinking cider and selecting a perfect pumpkin for their designs. Les has always taken the carving night seriously, using every tool from a stencil to a power drill.

When Cordy refused the tradition this year and returned to reading the poison texts and journals in the Cloaked World Library, it was a like a big red flag. Suddenly, all the little clues clicked for Les. Ever since the dream that left her powerless for a week happened, Cordy hadn't been herself. She had moved her entire Florida room to her CW room. She was refusing to come to Earth except to visit Moni or Catori. She was spending more time in the gym working on more than self defense. She completely resigned from her job at the laboratory. She scarcely talked at all unless someone addressed her first. He didn't know how to shake it out of her . . . until he saw a gorgeous gourd. It had taken him all of a second to plan and two hours to execute. The smiling warrior was propped on a library table for her to find and he was delighted to see her set her books aside with a smile. She placed a small kiss on the glowing pumpkin's cheek, "Well, hello handsome. Happy Halloween."

I know that I've been out for a while now. I'm being killed slowly by the education system. I NEEDED to post something to show that I love CS. I think about things I'd love to read or write for it daily. Although I did the picture because of the contest, I'm going to officially submit to the contest, because I was inspired by a stock picture I've had in my file since 2010 . Halloween 2008 2nd Shoot 46 I do plan on coloring this in-between working on report cards. Anyhoo, enjoy.))
