Personality and brief history:

Les, well, Les is a cat. An Egyptian Mau. For 12 hours of the day, he is trapped in a cat form while he is free to his human for the remaining. (For reasons he doesn't understand, he does not have to transform in the CW unless he wants to.)

Sensitive and idealistic, Les is an energetic man with tremendous mental potential and willing to discipline himself through focusing on his objectives. With clear memories of past lives, money has no emotional hold on him the way his sister does. Thus, it is not a burden to him to provide the majority of their income through online investments and day trading. His brashness and bluntness is countered by his believing that people should live up to their potential - usually because he can see the best in them. He has uncanny ability to read most people, reading their hearts and personality. He tends to speak informally, give people nicknames rather than call them by name, and speak more confidently than he actually feels.

Les is unable to conduct his life the way others do which has caused a strange duality in him. His intensity of his friendships and family, in turn result in passionless one night stands with a firm scorched earth rule. While responsible and protective in all duties regarding Cordelia, he is reckless, aggressive, and irresponsible the minute he allows himself to forget his past and duties. It's almost as he lives to forget the past he can't forget or forgive himself for. He's lost count of the number of times Cordelia has had to bail him out of jail public intoxication and patch up superficial wounds from a bar brawl. (This changes as he interacts in the CW. Arina does not hold the grudge he expected her to and Cordy is able to mental remember whom she is -this is no longer held down by that burden). He is just as likely to get into a fight as he is to binge watch romantic comedies and Korean soaps.
Despite their disputes and differences, Les and Cordy are extremely protective and loyal to one another. Their parents, Egyptologists, obsessed with their work often left these two alone with only each other for most of their lives. Les blames his transformation for scaring his parents away and thus feels obligated to take on the fatherly role in their place. In fact, it's made both of them build a stronger sense of family and understand the importance of loyalty.

Their personal dreams are likely to be plotted on a grandiose scale -- impractical but not impossible. His personal mission is to continue to keep Cordelia from ever being hurt again and to rectify his mistake made to the warrior, Orion the Hunter. Even though it may be impossible, he has been searching for Orion's line of kin in order to make amends.

Cloaked World Note: Although this has not presented itself in a task yet, since joining the Constellation Senshi, Les has no reason to drink or brawl (that personality quirk came from harboring Selcis' memories and are now adopted by Cordy). Additionally, although still brash and blunt, Les is undergoing a change in the CW. With Cordy regaining her memories, Les no longer has the huge burden to shoulder. He is able to pursue genuine romantic relationships, develop deeper friendships, and embrace families on a larger scale. When it comes to battles, the former warrior would rather see the reckless, the unequipped, and the weak-hearted remain in a safe place while those willing and able do the fighting. Thus, he is still the ever protective big brother and keeps the Selcis influenced personality traits from over taking Cordy.

Further:
ue to the world being different, Les does not have to change into cat form for half the day there, which is why he prefers the CW to Earth. However, he can still willingly change into cat form when desired to move around, be a wuss around Tamara, and being harassed by the Goldfish.

After the wars, Selcis, the first Scorpius, is upset as those she consider family start going to Earth. In an attempt to bring Caine back to the CW, Selcis messes up her teleport and ends up on Earth during an ancient Egyptian era. Something went wrong when she teleported, causing her to forget her former self and identify. She is found by a young royal prince named Akar. She is renamed Serqet by the Egyptians when they found her surrounded by scorpions. She was named as an adopted daughter of the royal house and then placed as the head priestess in the house devoted to the Goddess Sekret. Akar became a renowned assassin among his people called the Scorpion because his favored weapon was poison. Akar believes Serqet to be the vessel of his patron goddess Sekret and thus devoted himself to her happiness. In turn, Serqet provided him with even stronger poisons made from scorpion venom and her blood. She was there to comfort him when the grief of his deeds threatened to overwhelm him and he was there when the nightmares of her past frightened her.
Orion, when epitomizing the Greek legend of Orion, eventually made his way to Egypt. Hearing much about the legendary hunter, the Egyptians welcomed him as royal guest. With his stories of hunts and wondrous battles, Serqet befriends Orion, almost as if she recognized him from when they fought side by side with the Lady of the Stars. The two begin a secret relationship, but Serqet is betrayed to the Pharaoh by a jealous priestess. The Pharaoh seizes the political opportunity to show the world that Egypt is so strong that they can conquer the famed Orion. He claimed that Orion violated one of their “untouchable maidens” despite Serqet's pleas that she loved him. Serqet never has the chance to explain that it was mutual to Akar, before he is dispatched to kill Orion. The fight between the Hunter and the Scorpion would become the mythical tale among the Greeks despite the fact that the stars were already set in the constellations. Akar enraged that someone he trusted would hurt his sister was determined to kill Orion with Serqet's most painful poison made from her own blood. Serqet desperate to save her brother and lover ran to stop the battle. Fearing she will be injured in the fight, Orion is distracted by her approach and in that moment Akar slashes Orion's eyes with a poisoned blade, blinding him. Due to the poison made from Seqret's- The Scorpius Constellation- blood, the poison would infect the soul and bodies of Orion progeny. Seeing Akar moving to kill Orion, Serqet moved to protect Orion and Akar accidentally stabbed her in the heart with the same poison dagger. Between the poison and pain, she suddenly awakens to her constellation memories and powers. Akar is in complete despair and begging for her forgiveness. In the haze of death, Serqet uses her powers to make Akar her ‘new heart'. Only able to bond with her soul in his purest form, Akar's body transforms to match his inner anima form - an Egyptian Mau. (If he does not remain in his anima form for more than 12 hours a day, it will sever their bond). Her soul would have needed to recover from the overuse of power, which is why Orion thought her dead and moved on to be married with a woman from the Haida.
