Y'know, I see every character in Undertale as asexual. So to see Mettaton constantly sexualized or pervertized really grinds my gears (no pun intended), especially because I think it's only done because he's super flamboyant?? And it makes me really uncomfortable??So yeah.Β

Flamboyance and extroversion (not to mention being gay/queer coded) somehow meant "whore" to some people in the fandom. And I would have avoided it if it wasn't fucking everywhere. I had to see it for me to realize i didn't like it, and even then i had to see it some more before i could blacklist it accordingly.
also being asexual does not mean you can't have sex, it means you don't experience sexual attraction. Some people are repulsed by the idea of sex, other might do it for fun or for some closeness with their partner, but they are not sexually attracted to them. Asriel could have easily come about to asexual parents who simply wanted a child and therefore mutually consented to having one. Whether or not this is actually the case in how the game works (i.e. how monsters are made), I have no idea. But yeah.

I like how tastefully this art is done.
The context, though, I have to admit, would be something that... isn't my game.
I am actually very attracted to Mettaton (and yes, sexualized versions included) but it's mainly the charisma and flamboyant nature s/he has that's attractive.
Honestly, I don't go overboard with the interest in the sexualization of MTT, but I will admit some people DO.

Undertale is something that I've been seeing a lot of, but I'd rather see that than FNAF or MLP. Especially MLP. FNAF I can sort of stand, but MLP just makes me DEUUEAUGH all over the place.
Plus, Undertale has badass music too.

Well yeah don't get me wrong, Undertale is one of my favorite things right now, and i love seeing art and stuff from it. It's the porn I hate. And moreover, the overexualization of the flamboyant robot. Like, the ONE TIME I actually want the robot to be asexual (bc nobody can ever be asexual in media without either having no feelings or being a robot), people keep characterizing him as this sex hound and it seriously bothers me so much. Especially since I don't just see him as ace, but literally everyone.Β

I recommend getting Tumblr blacklist. You can blacklist "Undertail" and it gets rid of p much everything on your dash. (But when you search for "mettaton" alone, it won't filter anything out on the results unfortunately. I don't know why but yeah...)

I do that, actually. I'm not just talking about the porn, but just the sexualizing of him in general. It's like, just because he's flamboyant and likes to show off, people immediately went "oop he's a sex hound now, definitely knows all about that, and is definitely putting the moves on ppl" Like I just cannot handle that.
Especially if it's in relation to Papyrus, who the game pretty much canonizes as aromantic so WHY EVEN UGH

How about just don't go to Tumblr in the first place? It's a total SJW breeding ground. And not to mention the Tumblrinas and people who make up fake pronouns, genders, and sexual orientations. They make real LGBT and non-binary people look like jokes.
And just so you know, I'm a straight, Christian cis male, but I have LGBT friends, so it really offends me as well when people do shit like Transtrending and making up orientations and pronouns. Β It's not fair to ACTUAL people who go by a different sexual orientation or gender than what they were assigned at birth, and it's also not fair to non-straight people either.
