This is a bit of a special thing. You know Scraptrap v4? how weirdly green and dark the pic was? Well, with the magic of "PHOTOSHOP", I brightened it and the color is much more pleasing. Bittersweet, but fitting in a way. Should I alter more drawings digitally like this? Might be a good alternative to scanning.Related content

I use pens and markers to make the outline, mostly. I only use pencils to make the faint trace of what the body's shape will be.

I have a question how do you make a good arm length for an animatronic because mine sometimes pass their knees.

Try measuring where the hands will end up. At most, they should be at the thigh, I think.
