Looking at how similar it looks I can swear you trace it. Ok, if you like that character you can draw it, but trace it and give it different names men?, that's not good let me tell you FAQ #304: Do you remove copies and trace-over art?
You can ask to the original owner to trace it or almost give the current credits, now tell me, how can you feel if someone trace your pictures without telling you?, how can you feel about that?
