i originally intended it to be some kinda cave writing...... but when we did the critique in class everyone said it looked like it should be some glowing ore (this is before i colored it on photoshop).

i thought that was a cool idea and went with the glowing mineral idea. i imagine a huge glowing crystal formation of the same stuff glowing ahead and beneath him.
