as one who does mostly pencils myself and can hardly bring myself to ink or paint my own stuff for fear of screwing it up, i admire anyone who can successfully finish their own traditional by inking and/or coloring it. so it was more of a respect thing.

It doesn't feel rushed to me when I look at it. It feels like you spent time deciding exactly which colors you wanted to use and where you wanted to place them. I think your just feeling apprehensive because it's your work and you want to make each part of it perfect. I don't think you need to fix anything on it... everything flows well together especially with the color choice of the force lightning it gives you excellent lighting so you have both your really dark, darks and your light, lights in the piece with make it more intriguing to look at

i dunno, these are honestly better colors than what i normally crap out, but color mediums just aren't my thing. when (if) i'm done school and i break into comics, i don't really wanna color anyways. i guess i'm just recognizing that these colors aren't anywhere near a professional level....but i'm waaaay more worried about my pencils reaching that point, so, it's all good

For lightning make the inside straight white, and the glow around it blue, same with lightsabres
