I'd like to do that myself, what kind of paint did you use? Any specific brushes too? :3

haha that's first time someone said it was awesome I used paint! but thankyou 
I used nylon paint brushes with standard acrylic paint (at the time it's what I had) and it has held up for 3 years and wont come off! I think I did 2/3layer of white then painted the gold ontop but the dark red is straight on without a base coat of white. (I think it was a long time ago when I did it)

I'm planning to do the same. I really don't like the idea of using any other fabric for this dress, velvet feels so right! And I really like what you did, the result looks really good. So it made me hopeful mine will too.

I totally agree velvet just seems right, especially with how it looks in RE4 Satine just doesn't have the depth. Also Acrylic doesn't come out even in the washing machine
