Al-Nawfara, meaning "the Fountain" is a famous coffee-house in Damascus, right next to the Umayyad Mosque.Evenings after 5 (according to my own experience) or 6/7 (according to various sites) Abu Shady leaves his nargileh to sit next to his own portrait and between the ancient poet Antarah and his eternal beloved Abla (you can see her in this photo).
