My mother once told me a story of how God made black people. She told me that he wanted to do something different so he had all of these humans on their hands and knees and painted them black. But he forgot to paint the bottom of their hands and feet! So that's why if they hold out their hands, they're the same color as white people!
That story tickled me pink! Anyway, I saw the color transition on his hand and that came into thought!
