Entry for Dark Art contest [link]Something about loneliness and different realities... It took some inspiration on things like "The Fog", Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Lovecraft as always... I don't know but I feel theres a lot of "At the mountains of Madness", "The Call of Cthulhu" and "The shadow over Insmouth"...

There are some red birds like the scarlet ibis, but those in the piece are seaguls, I painted them red to giving the contrast and I also liked the concept of the red birds into another reality... I think I should put that in the description

I'm in the class right now, it's gonna suck... Yesterday was nice, I had a class in another school and I spent all the time talking about porn movies titles, comedy movies and doing alot of idiot stuff on photoshop

Talk about teamwork. I really like the composition. My only thought is that maybe you could have made the figures intergrate with each other. Like the birds and the smoke seem so isolated from each other.

I tried that way, trust me, it did not look good...
Also I liked this concept of the birds flying away from the smoke...
