i always love the fun little elements you put in; like the little green guy playing with the ball. they bring such a playful feel to images that could take themselves too seriously

Oh I wanted to use that pose in my renders this week but I had nowhere for the character to lay over!! Looks like you have worked the pillows to make it fit into your scene here, good job! ^^

LOL yes! The pose is magnificent but where on earth to put the lady... so I had to construct a .. lil bit... around her....

I did the same for my Xmas 2007 pic, where the room was built around the pose.

most of the times it is easier that way... if you start to mess around with a very nice pose it mostly ends not as expected...

ken1171 In reply to Fredy3D [2008-03-23 07:48:37 +0000 UTC]
In most cases I only use a library pose as a starting point because I play with poses to see how they react to different lighting conditions and camera framings. And when it comes to animations, it is such a pain that Poser IK/FK can only be used for stills... If you toggle IK on/off after posing the character, all the animation curves will spike out towards the nearest galaxy, ruining everything - and there is no undo for that... -_-

Fredy3D In reply to ken1171 [2008-03-23 08:01:43 +0000 UTC]
Yes, the starting point is always a library pose, but there is no untouched pose, even if it is only taking care of vanishing fingertips in the characters body.... I hate that...
So it seems I am lucky not to do animations...

If there is ONE thing they MUST fix on Poser is the IK/FK system... -_-
