Yeah, I've got a ticket to the moon
But I'd rather see the sunrise in your eyes.

When my dear friend sent my her new character "Nova Blue for V4" (available at Rendo [link] ) I had this pic in mind. I hope you like it hon

So sad that ELO stopped to make music...

Very true Although they did put out "Zoom" a few years back, but other than that, not much...
It's also a shame that it's so hard to find their records, at least around here. I've only got maybe four of their "proper" albums, and I'll probably have to order the rest off the 'Net if I ever want to see 'em.

"Zoom" yes... ELO-Part2...yes... Jeff Lynne "Armchair Theatre"... "Travelling Wilburys" ... all nice stuff but nothing against:
New world record
Out of the blue
Discovery
Time
I have all of their "classic" stuff on Vinyl and have a few "best of" albums and some albums re-bought as CD...

I agree that the last 3 are awesome Unfortunately, "New World Record" is one I haven't been able to get my hands on

Nice composition! I noticed that city landscapes seem to play a larger role in your gallery these days. ^^

Yes... You know you always have moments in time where you have a favourite theme, sometime angels/devils, somtimes magic, sometimes cityscapes

And that's one thing I like about Poser - the models are highly reusable!

Last night I finally bought myself this city landscape, the "Greeble City Blocks" for less than $10 at Renderosity.

Your set work always amazes me. There is so much detail and it works well compositionally.

If I would only do that I would not need 8-10 hours for one pic...

I see alot of bought models in your pictures so thats why im asking.
8-10 hours? No offense but you got to be kidding.

Fredy3D In reply to XaDu [2008-06-29 17:50:32 +0000 UTC]
Errm.. How many 3D scenes have you done?
1-2 hours for characters/outfit/posing in poser -> exported to Cinema
2-3 hours for scene setup/camera/texture and meterial setup
2-3 hours for lighting setup (including 1 hour for lots of testrenderings)
1-2 hours for finetuning and final rendersetup (depth, AO, GI etc)
After rendering 3000x4000 pixels which takes about 2-5 hours for on a Quadcore the rendered pic comes with all layers into postwork
1-3 hours postwork in photoshop

XaDu In reply to Fredy3D [2008-06-30 10:41:55 +0000 UTC]
None, but if I did I would feel guilty using someone else's stuff, id atleast have some decency and do them (or try) myself otherwise I woudnt call myself a 3D artist, I guess its just me.
There is absolutely no clue in your pics that you used PS, they still look like a 90's game wallpaper.
