Once changed, Helen Hyde, as Julia's other self addresses herself as, possesses several remarkable physical traits which as as follows.

Superhuman strength: As her size and powerful physique might suggest, Helen is remarkably strong, far more so in fact, than her appearance would bely.She can benchpress up to an excess of eight tons even when calm, and her strength can increase even further when she is incensed or agitated, going up to around fifteen tons. This superhuman strength extends to heightened speed as well as her muscles are capable of propelling her at speeds far greater than an ordinary human could hope to achieve.

Durability: Helen is remarkably hardy and extremely resilient to almost any kind of physical trauma. Not only does she not feel intense heat or cold to the same degree a normal human would but her skin resists blades and low-caliber firearms to an impressive degree. Helen also boasts incredible stamina while transformed and does not tire, even when performing at her peak.

Regeneration: Even if Helen should come to any harm, her body is capable of mending any minor wound with incredible speed and even more major injuries can be mended with time. However, this ability truly shines when either Helen or Julia changes into one another. For if either of them has sustained a major injury, even a fatal wound. It will be mended instantaneously during the transformation.

Potent blood: An unexpected side-effect of her powers, Helen's chemically altered blood reacts differently than that of a normal human, not only preventing infection of varying kinds but also providing her with innate protection against vampires as her blood(while transformed) is toxic to them. This also extends to lycanthropic strains as Helen is immune to werewolf infection.

Weaknesses: As the source of her powers, Helen is dependent upon the formula she ingests to retain her power and remain herself. Though she has made efforts as Julia to improve the formula and extend the time she can remain transformed, presently she can only remain in her Hyde form for a current maximum of four hours, though this is not always exact. Furthermore, after the transformation has reversed, Julia is usually physically drained and debilitated for a few hours, preventing her from immediately returning to being Helen. The improvements to the formula have reduced this side effects severity but have not yet removed it. Further consumption of the formula while transformed can extend the time she remains transformed but on occasion can cause a reaction that reverses the transformation.

Uniform: At present, Neither Julia nor Helen have any form of costume to speak of. Though she normally prefers to go naked, Helen will on occasion, remain somewhat clothed in what little usually remains of Julia's clothing after the transformation, provided it does not feel encumbering or annoying.

Thanks to her keen mind and his research notes, Julia has quickly become quite adept in the fields of both science and Alchemy and has actually been able to improve upon her late brother's work. Julia also possesses an interest in criminology and detective work and has provided valuable insight to Archibald on several cases. Background: Julia Ann Jekyll was the second-born child to her parents, Johnathan and Elizabeth, a well-to-do middle-class family in London. Julia was a quiet, well-behaved child who showed signs of high intellect even at an early age. Her father, however, was of of a chauvinistic disposition and refused to recognise her academic potential, instead lavishing his attention on her less-talented older brother whom he encouraged in pursuing a career in science. Her mother was likewise, disinterested in cultivating Julia's scholastic tendencies and noting that her daughter was of a rather plain appearance, paid her little mind. As such, Julia's early life was one of negligence and loneliness. The only joy she found was when her brother's friend, Archibald Spaulding came to play with the pair and a young Julia developed strong feelings for him. Unfortunately, as they grew older, their paths drifted apart to a degree and they saw less of each other.

Around the time Julia was eighteen and her brother was twenty-three, their parents were involved in a tragic accident while aboard a cruise ship and lost their lives. Jacob became the head of the house and continued to busy himself with his scientific pursuits while Julia essentially took over the day-to-day running of the household. By this point, Julia had become a very introverted and innocuous young lady and had no friends to speak of or acquaintances outside of the household servants. On the occasions that her brother had friends over, many of them assumed Julia to be his housekeeper rather than his sibling. Things improved for Julia when Archibald, now an inspector for Scotland Yard, returned to London and rekindled his friendship with Jacob and Julia. Julia however, was still far too timid to confess her true feelings for him and silently pined for him from a distance. He would, on occasion, discuss some of his cases with them and Julia showed promise as a potential detective by offering valuable insight and a fresh perspective on the cases he shared.

It was in the summer of 1886 however, that Julia's life took an irrevocable turn when her brother's research reached a new stage. Abruptly he became very furtive and paranoid about his work and dismissed the household servants, fearing them potentially stealing his research, leaving Julia to take on all of the household chores. He withdrew from his social circle and secreted himself in his laboratory, sometimes for days at a time. Julia was concerned for his well being but even she could not persuade him to divulge the particulars of his work. On several occasions, however, Julia was alarmed to discover that he had left the house without her knowing under the cover of night and was sometimes gone for many hours at a time, returning worn out and exhausted. She also discovered several other strange details such as torn and stained clothing that seemed to have been worn by a much larger man either disposed or hidden in the lab. Around the same time, Archibald told her and Jacob about a recent case he'd been assigned to, involving a brutish individual known as "Mr Hyde" who had been engaged in various violent and depraved acts across the city. Possessed of incredible strength and agility, Mr Hyde had so far managed to evade the authorities and continued to run amock with ever-increasing audacity. Julia was intrigued but troubled by the accounts that Archie relayed to her and noted that the times at which these horrendous acts had been perpetrated, coincided with her brother's mysterious absences as well as his suspicious behaviour. Increasingly troubled by his odd demeanour, she attempted to have a discussion with him in his laboratory one evening, only to find that he had already departed without a word. However, he had left some of his work on the table, including a vial of an odd-smelling, viscous green liquid. Intrigued, she drew closer and picked it up to examine it. The odd smell it gave off seemed to almost beckon to her and a strange compulsion to ingest the strange liquid overpowered her. She downed the contents in a single gulp, instantly mortifying her even as she completed the act. Startled by her own actions, she had little idea of the life-changing ramifications of her deed.

Within seconds, a strange feeling suddenly began to well up inside of her. She struggled for breath as her vision blurred and she collapsed to the cold, hard floor of the Laboratory as a fantastical change suddenly gripped her. In the minutes that followed, a miraculous metamorphosis was wrought upon the young woman as a part of her that had been buried deep within her soul was brought forth and given form. Within moments, a completely different female rose from the spot where Julia Jekyll had fallen, awestruck and amazed by her own transfiguration. The woman quickly took stock of herself, Julia's fragile form replaced with a towering, amazonian physique, and her plain, unremarkable features reformed into breathtaking, savage beauty. Changed not, just in body but also in mind, the fantastical female quickly deduced the missing pieces to the puzzle, that her brother was in fact the brutish Mr Hyde, transformed as she had been by the formula. Despite her altered mindset, her moral compass was still intact but now she finally possessed the courage to act for the first time in her life. Without hesitation, she departed the domicile and leapt into the night to seek out her sinister sibling.

She was able to locate him thanks to a stroke of good luck, just as he was about to commit yet another depraved deed upon a hapless woman. She boldly interceded and gave the woman time to flee while she confronted her brother who was at first mystified by the powerful female who possessed superhuman strength that rivalled his own. Upon him inquiring her name, she haughtily dubbed herself Helen Hyde and then attempted to subdue him. During the struggle between the pair of powerhouses, however, Archibald, who had heard the fleeing victim's cries for help, had hastened to the scene and stumbled into their struggle. Henry Hyde, alarmed that his sister's strength rivalled his own and being a coward at heart, chose to flee the scene while Helen, distracted by the man whom she'd harboured an unrequited love for, brazenly introduced herself to him and flirtatiously informed him of her intentions to pursue him before departing the scene. She tracked Henry across the rooftops and streets of the city until he wound his way back to their home where he reverted back to Jacob before Helen's very eyes.No longer the malicious man-brute, he threw himself at Helen's mercy who despite knowing what his darker side was capable of, was moved by her brother's pleas and insistence that he'd lost control of himself. She too then reverted back into Julia and Jacob revealed his tale to her. Stating that he'd started out with good intentions regarding his experiments but had become swayed and corrupted by Hyde's intoxicating power and lack of morality. He vowed to her to never again partake of the formula and become Mr Hyde again.

Julia, against her better judgement, was swayed by her brother's pleading and being quite alarmed by how different she too had been while transformed, chose to believe him and aided him in destroying his supply of the existing formula with them both swearing to keep the secret of the Hyde's and never unleash their alter-ego's upon the world again. For a time, things went back to normal within the Jekyll household and Jacob seemed to be determined to uphold his word. Julia struggled quietly with her own inner conflict over the nagging desire to become Helen again but managed to abstain from succumbing to her desire. However, after only a week of depriving himself, Jacob snuck into the lab and brewed some of the formula with the intention of becoming Henry Hyde again. Julia stumbled across his scheme too late to prevent him from ingesting the formula and was stuck transfixed with horror as her beloved brother transformed into the malicious Mr Hyde once more. Henry, no longer inhibited by the love he had once tenuously had for his sister, decided to eliminate her in order to safeguard his secret and so that he would never be rivalled by Helen again. Just as he was about to take her life, however, the timely arrival of Archibald, who had come to call on the pair and heard the struggle, interrupted the murder attempt and leapt to Julia's aid. Henry discarded Julia and turned his attention to his former friend while a desperate Julia, noticing that some of the formula Jacob had made still remained in a beaker, quickly ingested it while Henry was distracted and transformed into Helen Hyde once again.

Another fierce fight broke out between the transformed siblings with Helen fiercely gaining the upper hand, incensed by Jacob's betrayal and his attempted murder of both her and Archibald. Overwhelmed once again by the furious female, Henry attempted to flee with Helen giving chase and the pair's battle led to London Bridge where Henry attempted to make a final stand. While the two fiercely struggled, Henry's transformation began to wear off and he attempted to escape once more. However, thanks to his diminishing strength he only ended up imperilling himself while reverting back to Jacob. Helen went to his rescue but just as she was pulling him to safety, her own transformation began to reverse and she was unable to retain her grip on Jacob and so he plummeted into the river Thames. Archibald caught up with the pair just in time to witness Jacobs fall and rescue Julia from sharing in his fate. After this, he took Julia home and got the entire story from her lips.

After a great deal of deliberation, he and Julia agreed to keep the truth of the matter a secret and simply reveal that Henry Hyde was dead, having been shot and fallen into the Thames. Meanwhile, Jacob would be his final victim, also having been thrown into the Thames by Hyde, which was something of a spin on the truth of what happened. Archibald did this to protect his former friend's memory, electing to believe that his friend fell prey to the corruption that the formula wrought on his mind, as well as to protect Julia from scandal and the ramifications of her brother's heinous crimes. He bade Julia to dispose of all of Jacob's notes and any remaining formula hoping to close the chapter of the Hyde's once and for all. But will Julia be able to deny the savage spirit that resides inside of her?

A re-release of the Julia/Helen piece now with her corresponding bio. As any shrewd reader might have noticed, this is titled her pre-time skip bio. This is because I plan to move Julia and Helen forward in time by yet-undisclosed means to the present day which will come to pass down the line. Unfortunately, as they grew older, their paths drifted apart to a degree and they saw less of each other.

Around the time Julia was eighteen and her brother was twenty-three, their parents were involved in a tragic accident while aboard a cruise ship and lost their lives. Jacob became the head of the house and continued to busy himself with his scientific pursuits while Julia essentially took over the day-to-day running of the household. By this point, Julia had become a very introverted and innocuous young lady and had no friends to speak of or acquaintances outside of the household servants. On the occasions that her brother had friends over, many of them assumed Julia to be his housekeeper rather than his sibling. Things improved for Julia when Archibald, now an inspector for Scotland Yard, returned to London and rekindled his friendship with Jacob and Julia. Julia however, was still far too timid to confess her true feelings for him and silently pined for him from a distance. He would, on occasion, discuss some of his cases with them and Julia showed promise as a potential detective by offering valuable insight and a fresh perspective on the cases he shared.

It was in the summer of 1886 however, that Julia's life took an irrevocable turn when her brother's research reached a new stage. Abruptly he became very furtive and paranoid about his work and dismissed the household servants, fearing them potentially stealing his research, leaving Julia to take on all of the household chores. He withdrew from his social circle and secreted himself in his laboratory, sometimes for days at a time. Julia was concerned for his well being but even she could not persuade him to divulge the particulars of his work. On several occasions, however, Julia was alarmed to discover that he had left the house without her knowing under the cover of night and was sometimes gone for many hours at a time, returning worn out and exhausted. She also discovered several other strange details such as torn and stained clothing that seemed to have been worn by a much larger man either disposed or hidden in the lab. Around the same time, Archibald told her and Jacob about a recent case he'd been assigned to, involving a brutish individual known as "Mr Hyde" who had been engaged in various violent and depraved acts across the city. Possessed of incredible strength and agility, Mr Hyde had so far managed to evade the authorities and continued to run amock with ever-increasing audacity. Julia was intrigued but troubled by the accounts that Archie relayed to her and noted that the times at which these horrendous acts had been perpetrated, coincided with her brother's mysterious absences as well as his suspicious behaviour. Increasingly troubled by his odd demeanour, she attempted to have a discussion with him in his laboratory one evening, only to find that he had already departed without a word. However, he had left some of his work on the table, including a vial of an odd-smelling, viscous green liquid. Intrigued, she drew closer and picked it up to examine it. The odd smell it gave off seemed to almost beckon to her and a strange compulsion to ingest the strange liquid overpowered her. She downed the contents in a single gulp, instantly mortifying her even as she completed the act. Startled by her own actions, she had little idea of the life-changing ramifications of her deed.

Within seconds, a strange feeling suddenly began to well up inside of her. She struggled for breath as her vision blurred and she collapsed to the cold, hard floor of the Laboratory as a fantastical change suddenly gripped her. In the minutes that followed, a miraculous metamorphosis was wrought upon the young woman as a part of her that had been buried deep within her soul was brought forth and given form. Within moments, a completely different female rose from the spot where Julia Jekyll had fallen, awestruck and amazed by her own transfiguration. The woman quickly took stock of herself, Julia's fragile form replaced with a towering, amazonian physique, and her plain, unremarkable features reformed into breathtaking, savage beauty. Changed not, just in body but also in mind, the fantastical female quickly deduced the missing pieces to the puzzle, that her brother was in fact the brutish Mr Hyde, transformed as she had been by the formula. Despite her altered mindset, her moral compass was still intact but now she finally possessed the courage to act for the first time in her life. Without hesitation, she departed the domicile and leapt into the night to seek out her sinister sibling.

She was able to locate him thanks to a stroke of good luck, just as he was about to commit yet another depraved deed upon a hapless woman. She boldly interceded and gave the woman time to flee while she confronted her brother who was at first mystified by the powerful female who possessed superhuman strength that rivalled his own. Upon him inquiring her name, she haughtily dubbed herself Helen Hyde and then attempted to subdue him. During the struggle between the pair of powerhouses, however, Archibald, who had heard the fleeing victim's cries for help, had hastened to the scene and stumbled into their struggle. Henry Hyde, alarmed that his sister's strength rivalled his own and being a coward at heart, chose to flee the scene while Helen, distracted by the man whom she'd harboured an unrequited love for, brazenly introduced herself to him and flirtatiously informed him of her intentions to pursue him before departing the scene. She tracked Henry across the rooftops and streets of the city until he wound his way back to their home where he reverted back to Jacob before Helen's very eyes.No longer the malicious man-brute, he threw himself at Helen's mercy who despite knowing what his darker side was capable of, was moved by her brother's pleas and insistence that he'd lost control of himself. She too then reverted back into Julia and Jacob revealed his tale to her. Stating that he'd started out with good intentions regarding his experiments but had become swayed and corrupted by Hyde's intoxicating power and lack of morality. He vowed to her to never again partake of the formula and become Mr Hyde again.

Julia, against her better judgement, was swayed by her brother's pleading and being quite alarmed by how different she too had been while transformed, chose to believe him and aided him in destroying his supply of the existing formula with them both swearing to keep the secret of the Hyde's and never unleash their alter-ego's upon the world again. For a time, things went back to normal within the Jekyll household and Jacob seemed to be determined to uphold his word. Julia struggled quietly with her own inner conflict over the nagging desire to become Helen again but managed to abstain from succumbing to her desire. However, after only a week of depriving himself, Jacob snuck into the lab and brewed some of the formula with the intention of becoming Henry Hyde again. Julia stumbled across his scheme too late to prevent him from ingesting the formula and was stuck transfixed with horror as her beloved brother transformed into the malicious Mr Hyde once more. Henry, no longer inhibited by the love he had once tenuously had for his sister, decided to eliminate her in order to safeguard his secret and so that he would never be rivalled by Helen again. Just as he was about to take her life, however, the timely arrival of Archibald, who had come to call on the pair and heard the struggle, interrupted the murder attempt and leapt to Julia's aid. Henry discarded Julia and turned his attention to his former friend while a desperate Julia, noticing that some of the formula Jacob had made still remained in a beaker, quickly ingested it while Henry was distracted and transformed into Helen Hyde once again.

Another fierce fight broke out between the transformed siblings with Helen fiercely gaining the upper hand, incensed by Jacob's betrayal and his attempted murder of both her and Archibald. Overwhelmed once again by the furious female, Henry attempted to flee with Helen giving chase and the pair's battle led to London Bridge where Henry attempted to make a final stand. While the two fiercely struggled, Henry's transformation began to wear off and he attempted to escape once more. However, thanks to his diminishing strength he only ended up imperilling himself while reverting back to Jacob. Helen went to his rescue but just as she was pulling him to safety, her own transformation began to reverse and she was unable to retain her grip on Jacob and so he plummeted into the river Thames. Archibald caught up with the pair just in time to witness Jacobs fall and rescue Julia from sharing in his fate. After this, he took Julia home and got the entire story from her lips.

After a great deal of deliberation, he and Julia agreed to keep the truth of the matter a secret and simply reveal that Henry Hyde was dead, having been shot and fallen into the Thames. Meanwhile, Jacob would be his final victim, also having been thrown into the Thames by Hyde, which was something of a spin on the truth of what happened. Archibald did this to protect his former friend's memory, electing to believe that his friend fell prey to the corruption that the formula wrought on his mind, as well as to protect Julia from scandal and the ramifications of her brother's heinous crimes. He bade Julia to dispose of all of Jacob's notes and any remaining formula hoping to close the chapter of the Hyde's once and for all. But will Julia be able to deny the savage spirit that resides inside of her?

A re-release of the Julia/Helen piece now with her corresponding bio. As any shrewd reader might have noticed, this is titled her pre-time skip bio. This is because I plan to move Julia and Helen forward in time by yet-undisclosed means to the present day which will come to pass down the line.
