WEEK 11
It was my first week at my new job this week, and ive been so tired each night after work i havent even been able to open photoshop let alone pick up the camera, so trying to get a submission for this week was looking grim. My friend Ange and I have been speaking about going down to inverloch on a crappy day with bad weather to try and get some cool photos, so figured we'd try it out this weekend. Had so much fun, but it was raining so heavily i was only able to take a total of about 4 photos. Fortunately this shot came out great immediately, so I was able to work with it. About 15 minutes after this shot was it started pouring and just didnt stop. We went back to the car and drove around hoping for the rain to pass but it never did so we decided to head home. On that trip home however, we decided to "stuff it" and go swimming anyway. We got down to the beach in the pouring rain, freezing cold, with not a soul in sight, and very uncomfortably got into the water. Freezing bloody cold, but after my skin had turned a lovely shade of purple, i couldnt feel my extremities anymore and it was actually very relaxing! The air was dead calm, there were no waves, just the pattering sound of rain landing on ocean! It was an amazing experience.

I Might have only taken one photo worth keeping that day, but i'm really happy with it nonetheless, but most importantly, have a great memory of how a day turned pear shaped and then swung right back around again.
