A scene from Frankenweenie that certainly got me misty eyed. I tried keeping the lighting/colours the same in this drawing as they are in the movie.

About two, three hours probably? Maybe even four. And I know, this quote really stuck out to me - the first time I went to see it and this scene cropped up, I was like "dang... too right". It's a really great movie

I'm still thrown at awe with this shot. I still can't believe you did this by hand, nothing digital, and with the kind of shading you did with just the shadows is absolutely stunning. That was such an emotional moment between the two, and you captured it so well!

Aw:3 I'm sure if you keep trying you'll be able to draw other characters? Though the "human" characters are kinda hard to draw and get the proportions right, because you need to make the eyes big, but not TOO big, and make the nose and mouth small, but not TOO small, etc:')
