I think what I like best about this piece is the variety of people in the room. Art lovers all in dark colors, Wall Street types wearing ties, some just enjoying the other pieces in the room, everyone on their phones as they try to convince others of the purchase or perhaps calculate potential profits β¦ all of them worth money or representing money. The smoker on the far right is sort of the most absurdly typical art appreciator of the bunch, and while I donβt like him smoking in a room full of paintings it also fits. And in every room there must be an outlier, that character in the back, third from the left, staring out a window in a schlubby jacket - and even they might be super rich, contemplating the piece but looking away from it.
As for the item(s) in question, I assume they must be holograms to keep the real item safe somewhere - but as futuristic as those holograms look, a glowing representation doesnβt quite convey the real thing. It gives the size, which is useful, but what about the color and vibrancy and condition? I would want to see pictures of the object alongside the holograms. And if that small hologram on the back table is another piece for sale (tilting the view higher to see the color rings would help) and presumably a life-size statue, that would mean the holograms arenβt life-size which would be the whole reason to provide them.
Overall your detail level is fantastic and the piece is beautifully dark and moody yet with small balancing spots of humor and light. The light bars on the ceiling look a little funky to me, maybe too flat or smooth? I like all the art pieces in the room, but weirdly my favorite object is that foreground couch with its irregularly squished back cushions, lighting and shading, and the texturing of the seat. Although the table surfaces are very cool too, with the hexagons there and on the windows providing the light futuristic tone, and perhaps implying the window view isnβt real? And which makes the character staring out even more strange.
