Description
I was asked by the production team at MTV to create a trophy that depicted a fan of TRL holding up a sign, similar to the way the fans that gather outside the studio in Times Square.

I used Britany Spears as my figure model as she was the epitome of the TRL viewer at the time.

There were several meetings after its completion discussing everything from weather there should also be a male figure to the size of the girls breasts...

Ultimately the final design was a mish-mosh of PC'ness that you see on the show today, and only the pose of this figure stood the test of the "design by committee".
