I've been at something of an art block in the past few days. The drawing I've been meaning to produce of Popola from NieR 2 wiping all of the dust and dirt off of YoRHa A2 has gone nowhere, and all I have is concept art for webcomic arcs I won't illustrate in many, many months.

A week or two ago, this Canadian guy on a Discord I'm in challenged me to study the surface of a single tree, and produce a drawing therefrom. This is what I saw.

The background reminds me somewhat of the Third Impact in Evangelion. The end result reminds me somewhat of the Angels in Dark Souls III, though it might as well be an Evangelion angel, or two lovers in coitus who became as one and ascended to the Heavens.
