For this webcomic issue, I'd wanted to convey the atmosphere of at once paranoia and liberation which follows *immediately* after the lifting of anti-sodomy laws in Queer culture. Queer men uniquely refusing to make public displays of affection, and seldom wishing to be overheard, to avoid blackmailers and the police. I had watched a few documentaries about the Homosexual Experience during anti-sodomy laws before this webcomic issue.

As for the dialogue, I'd rewritten it halfway through completing this webcomic issue into an archaic, probably bastardized form of Polari, which was the Argot used by homosexuals in the UK. I am somewhat worried that I went *too* Anglo with the dialogue, however, with lines such as "My place for mollyin', how 'bout it? Cottaging makes me feel like an old sock" (mollying - sex, cottaging - sex in public washrooms).
