I finished this drawing forever and a day ago and I finally got it up here. I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. It is the first of a series; "The Eyes Have It". Love the colors of the eyes. I think it makes it look better with a high contrast like that with an otherwise black and white photo.

Yea it needed that burst to bring your eye to it. Otherwise, I think if I made the whole thing black and white people wouldnt have even noticed it.

A little bit I miss where the face ends/begins on the right side, however it's just like on the photo

Thanks so much! I am going to be doing many more- I think my next one will be another cat- siamese cat with blues eyes- i also want to do a wolf, tiger, horse, some type of reptile, and my sis-in-law has a husky with one blue eye and one brown- i want to draw her too- so yea- lots of work ahead of me- haha!
