Here's a place where colored pencil fits as it's meant to. It's a stark and catchy way to color such a satirical peice. Not too cartoony, not too real. Absolutely fantastic rendering of Russert! I've only listened to him a few times on tv so I've no real idea as to what the satire is, yet it's hillarious and poinient anyway. You've cartooned and captured his likeness perfectly which, is, in my opinion, as my dad was a charicature artist, one of the hardest things to do on the planet.

I think it means that russert goes about interviews with officials like a bulldog... He prosecutes till he gets what he wants out of it. A good quality to have sometimes.
