aka The HORDE!!!Inspired by some things told me one night, which made me want to see Nightwail piled under lots of babies who adore him. Cause he needs loove!
and lots of hugs.Was a joke sketch that turned into the more finished drawing you see here.
The babies are, from left to right around NW's head:
Ladybug, Sputter, Greenspike.
Left to right on his arm:
Moonglow, Fireant.
Left to right on his lap/legs:
Starbee, Jetstream, Whirlwind.
And on Wisp's lap:
Sunbolt, Spyscream.

Ladybug having an insert transformation makes sense to me.
*nods* Yep. Tavalya Ra suggested that as well. I've also been toying with that and with some of her bug-mode being a shield or something when in robot-mode that clips on somewhere she doesn't accidently leave a piece of herself behind when walking around/doing whatever.
Just transforing into his automobile mode and just sleeping under the nice warmth of the sun.

Hehehe, besides her looking like Sailor Moon, and being dim, I don't really know much about that baby. But she possibly/probably is pretty as a grown bot.

So, they are officially the Horde now. I still really can't believe you did this- that you actually gave each and every one of these boogers their own unique and inspired design. I look at them and I'm amazed at how they're mixes of their grandparents- not just "oh, this is Bee and this is Blurr and this is from BA and this from Screamer..." but also traits that are blends, reminiscent of more than one of them. And they're all so damn cute. (I think I really want to take Jetstream home because he seems very calm and contented about his huggy lovingness. But then Whirlwind looks like he's just going to purr and Starbee has a slightly distressed look that makes me think she just needs a hug and Ladybug is so pretty and Spyscream and Sunbolt look like they'd be so much fun... and then you've got Moonglow, who looks so sadly stupid, and Fireant, who I think would bite off my hand.)

Yep. You've pretty well accomplished that. And since the Horde will need sleep, they can all curl up in his arms.
Do you realize that both times you've drawn Wisp, he's doing the same thing: making a happy face with an open-mouthed smile and his eyes closed? Hehehehe. Oh, Wisp!

I can't think of them without thinking "The Horde" xD Hehehehe. I like you descriptions of all these lil guys. Jetstream and Whirlwind look like they are probably the most affectionate of the bunch, Jetstream being calmer about it, like you said. Awwww, didn't notice lil' Starbee looking distressed. Now I wanna hug her! I wish I knew what Athene (is that the Sentinel spider-babies name?) looked like, so I could draw Spyscream and Sunbolt ticking her off like we talked about that one time. Hehehe, I still feel bad for Moonglow (kinda), she's such a joke-baby.
The idea of the Horde all snuggled up with Nightwail for nap time is sooo cute.
Hehehe, yeah, I realized I did that to Wisp after I finished the doodle/sketch of this one, but was too lazy to think up something else. hehe

Horde and Alliance, ahaha. (And I don't even play WoW.) They're all pretty huggy- well, except Fireant, who thinks Daddy is a jungle gym. Jetstream looks the most like Starscream (those names even rhyme!) but is probably nothing like him (except intelligent- well, there is Blurr in his lineage). Whirlwind is the one who looks the most like Blurr, but I keep wanting to compare him to a kitty. (It's the ":3" face.) Starbee's probably scared because she has an inkling of what her parentage could have been. (I picked that name for her because she does look like in that other crazy universe she would be Startron and Bumblebee spawn.) Or maybe she wants to climb Mommy (Daddy? Okay, who carried whom again? I'm too lazy to look it up.) too but is afraid she'll fall. Or she's worried Ladybug will fall on her.
Yes, Athene is the Sentinel's spider-spawn. Hmm... I could possibly whip up a concept sketch of her, although I think I want a better mental image of Flitter first; I'm uncertain as to her details.
I see Nightwail sleeping on his side with his arms forming a circle and the Horde just all sleeping in that. Wisp probably snuggles on the other side even though he doesn't really need sleep.
That's fine- I think it fits little Wispling.

*snickers* (I don't play it either, but my brother does). Yep, Daddy is the bestest jungle gym EVAR! And Fireant'll bite anyone who disagrees. I wonder if he still climbs Daddy when he grows up (since he's not all that big he probably could, and it's a nice vantage point up there on Nightwail's shoulders). Awww, you're making Jetstream seem cuter and cuter. Looked it up for ya, Nightwail is Starbee's daddy. I think she is nervous about climbing daddy, she isn't a flyer or a spider-crawly thing. She also liked Daddy's orange glass on his cockpit (is that what it's called?) cause she's the only baby with the orange glass.

(I have a friend who plays it.) Aw, Fireant is cute in his crazy! I bet he still tries to climb Nightwail, even though that's really awkward of him. But then, I like the fact that no matter how old Firefly is, he will always be a head or so smaller than Blackarachnia, so she'll always see him as her baby. (And Nightwail will always be smaller than Starscream, but the symbolism here is more sad than sweet- he'll always be little and lesser in front of his mother.) What do these bitty bots eventually do? Which ones go into the military, which stay civilians, which- gasp!- spoil Athene's fun by joining the Elite Guard, too? Poor little Starbee. I didn't realize that about the glass- it makes her cuter!
I was going to work on them tonight, but I got a fit of lazy.

Don't know if that would work, since some bot out there has an alt-mod that'd be much more appropriate then a jet. But I see him in robot mode flying around with packages, and it's so cute with his dim expression. I think Ladybug is an explorer, but I don't what kind of job that'd get her.
Fireant I see being in the military. Not in any sort of high position, just something where he can fight and blow stuff up, set things on fire. But he seems more like something you'd set loose on an enemy, and less something that could follow orders, so I don't know. I could see Sunbolt possibly getting in the Elite Guard. Possibly Spyscream, but that'd probably be more to grind Athene's gears and to stick with Sunbolt. Moonglow would most likely be a civilian. Not sure about others. But that's my thoughts right now on the buggers.

Nightwail doesn't mind any of the climbing on him. (Aww... now I wonder if Nightwail tried climbing Starscream when he was itty and got thrown off. Could be a Screamer trait- the SS spawn are fond of climbing Megatron. I know baby Firefly and Wisp weren't climbers, just cuddlers.)
Bet after Jetstream reached a certain height he started climbing him too.
*snerk* I can see that. And Jetstream thinking, "Uh... what are you doing?" I can't see him climbing Sputter, though. I think Sputter is a smaller jet. I don't think Sunbolt would like it.

But being a jet would make Sputter perfect for a delivery bot, because flight would allow him to move faster! He's probably a long-distance one, moving things quickly between different cities on Cybertron as it's probably tedious and energon-heavy to use space bridges just to get from one side of the planet to the other (instead of crossing the galaxy, which is what they're really supposed to be for).
Ladybug as an explorer works. I have a non-sparkling OC, Whiplash, who is hanging around the solar system doing survey work. (He's Blurr's spaceship- I really ought to develop him more just because the Blurr-babies would know him. He may be a prop character, but he and Blurr are friends and he helps Blurr with some rather important details towads the middle of OS.) Hee, maybe he and Ladybug team up.

Oh, yeah, definitely. Actually that last sentence is a good description of Blitzwing! Meant to be. I may have to make sure Blitzy survives OS just for this. (Not decided on Lockdown. Is it worth it to contrive the plot to allow him to live just so he can hang around all creepily for Thunderstrike to hate? NOT REALLY.)

I could see Spyscream entertaining the idea of the Elite Guard, but I don't think she'd made it in. I see her wanting to be an intelligence officer and... yanno... spy. (Blackarachnia is identifed as a Decepticon spy on her toy packaging, so Spyscream would get that from both sides of her family. And, of course, there's Firefly on his merry way to becoming Elite Prime.)

Hmm... Starbee could have some sort of glorified receptionist/assistant role, like what Cliffjumper has. (Seriously, what does Cliffjumper do? We saw him as an aide/confidant of Sentinel and carting off Wasp, then he was taking Blurr-cube from Longarm, but he's identified by Jazz as a "big-wig" in "Decepticon Air". Maybe he's some sort of high-ranking doer/executer of orders, but doesn't make the decisions himself. He just handles the carrying out sensitive ones.) Jetstream might be military, possibly Elite, but I see him as not really carrying about that. (I think some sparklings are anti-Elite guard because they think it's elistist and corrupt. This is why Optimus refuses readmission and Prowl has no interest- ditto Thunderstrike. Firefly truly believes this, but wants to change the system from within, so he DOES join. I think Jetstream might be turned off as well. I could also see Ladybug being anti-Elite. Fireant would probably take an invite, but he's too crazy to get one.) Greenspike I could go either way. Whirlwind is a racer? Come on, Bumblebee and Blurr are their grandparents and Starscream is the fastest Decepticon (on the toy package- he's probably faster than Bumblebee, but only in the air) somebody has to be!

Bots're probably be glad those two choose different career paths.
(Maybe Cliffjumper has just gotten a lot of promotions? Perhaps he was next in line to become Head of Intelligence and took over Longarm's job when he was found out/escaped capture. Carting off Decepticon spy's could be in low-level Intelligence officer's job description, yeah? Gotta interrogate them or something.) Whirlwind would make a good racer. Poor Greenspike, she's the least developed. We know more about poor Moonglow and all she's got going on is dumb civilian.

I think you're right that Spyscream is the troublemaker. Sunbolt I don't think is encouragable so much as he DOES agree it's a good idea and goes along with it (unless he doesn't, then I think he will disagree with Spyscream and that bothers her).

Oh, jeez. You know... since OS and ICY are technically (very technically) compliant thanks to the crossover, Fireant could meet GIR. (At this point, Zib's probably long dead and the Empire is being run by Dib-units... of course, if any Cybertronian runs into a Meekrob, all hell is just going to break loose and the galaxy will be screwed.)

There are a number of places he could have heard it, one of them being Blitzwing (who could've heard it on earth, Blitz already knew the itsy-bitsy spider song even before he got to earth, so who knows what he'd know and say). And yeah, I was totally thinking of GIR when I thought of "I like tacos!"
