Aww..they're cute even as adults XD
I think by default Spyscream wins by shooting pretty pink webbing all over everything.
Huzzah for the Autobot Jet...who looks in good spirits considering he's been webbed XD

Thanks!
These two aren't just siblings but best friends as well. Who cause mischief when together (usually pranks masterminded by Spyscream). And he's totally used to being webbed by now, since she's been doing that to him since they were itty-bitty. He's pretty good at going with the flow.

I saw this last night, but was too stupid for a comment at the time. Wonderful job, of course. I'm particularly tickled that while Spyscream is obviously an Arachnia-type model, she looks quite different, her own unique styling and shape- she's got Blurr arms! Wow, possibly a Blurr-type protoform model? Cause she's really skinny, less "hippy" than BA.
Nobody is going to confuse Autobot and Decepticon Seekers are they? Sunbolt really looks like the name fits. Hehehe, his head thing is a Blurr-Starscream meld (and he's got kitty ears!).
The webbing just makes me think horrible things. I apologize!

She's definitely skinny! ^^ She looked skinny to me as a baby-bot, and I liked that. She also stubbornly refused to have the girly lips too.
The only grandparent that Sunbolt doesn't seem to take after physically is BA. But he's got his best buddy and sister Spyscream to make up the difference!
The webbing just makes me think horrible things. I apologize!
Don't apologize! Webbing is bound to do that! It also makes me think horrible things, but probably in quite a different manner than your thinking I bet. The way it's strung up between Sunbolt's wings, I think that if transformers wore clothes that Spyscream would hang her clothes out to dry there. If he'd let her anyways.

I like that! Unique designs are good and she looks feminine to me without being the same as BA. (Yeah, yeah, gender is meaningless to Cybertronians- BAH!)
Sunbolt is one baby that will really make Screamer go, "What the hell?!"
It also makes me think horrible things, but probably in quite a different manner than your thinking I bet.
Probably. But on that note... Firefly can't shoot webbing. (I decided that would be too weird.) But since poor Wailer doesn't have the download power (he's miffed about that one), should he have the webbing? (As with his daddy, it would come out of his stingers- which means he could use it with some nice dexterity given those are on his arms.) And now I have visions of Nightwail discovering Wisp has a kinky side. (Race and capture? Hehehe...)
Oh, I bet Spyscream probably hangs little trinkets from there. Or Sentinel-babies. (The Trio would be older than them, but that's only the first trio.)

nd now I have visions of Nightwail discovering Wisp has a kinky side. (Race and capture? Hehehe...)
Again, I wanna see this animated! So cute So does this mean he gets webbing now? To capture his silly lil Wisp? And yeah, must be a lot more precise to have them on his arm.
Oh, I bet Spyscream probably hangs little trinkets from there. Or Sentinel-babies.
Hopefully the babies think it's fun, and giggle bunches. And hopefully Sentinel is freaking out.

I wish I could figure out a decent way to have Screamer interact with the grandchildren. Right now, all I've got is Nightwail crumpling and weepily protesting, "Wisp and I made them. I love them..."
Wisp is pretty fast (and ridiculously fast if he concentrates, but that's not fun for him) and Nightwail is probably pretty swift as well (I think Starscream is faster than Bumblebee without turbo boosters), so Wisp runs off and has Nightwail catch him with webbing. The little weirdie.
The babies think it's fun. Sentinel girly-shrieks and blames Firefly. Why? I'm pretty sure when anything happens with the Horde, he just goes and bitches to Firefly because it's no fun bitching directly to Nightwail and Wisp, who will just blink at him stupidly. (Wisp because that's Wisp. Nightwail because he's screwing with Sentinel and Sentinel is too dumb to realize it.)

Maybe if he had a chance encounter with one (or more) here and there, doesn't know yet how many of them there are, and eventually when meeting yet another Horde baby screams "Just how many of you ARE THERE!?!" *shrugs* Doesn't seem much better. Or they are all on some planet at the same time for some reason, and he encounters one, which soon becomes two, and there're more and more, till it's the whole batch with possibly Nightwail and Wisp too, and then he screams.
Would Nightwail fight his mommy if Starscream was fighting one of the horde? (Have I asked this before?)
I find the idea of Wisp running off just for Nightwail to catch him with webbing super freakishly cute/adorable.
I love it! That Sentinel does his girly-shrieks, and goes to Firefly to be pissy. (and that Nightwail is screwing with Sentinel)

Ooo! I like this idea. Of him running into little Seekers or spides or just ones of the Horde that obviously have his charateristics and he gets a wee bit freaked. I really want to see this!
You haven't asked this before. I think Nightwail would freeze until someone got seriously threatened and then just surge forward screaming and sting Starscream without even thinking. And then freak out some more. This would temporarily break him, give him a good case of the weepies. (If anyone else threatened the Horde, he would without question just kick their ass.)
It's all Wisp. I think the idea might bother Wailer (I like calling him that... hehehe) a little because of how Wisp was already captured by Screamer (and then regressed to Waspinator- fun times).
Sentinel and Firefly get into screaming matches. Well, Firefly isn't a screamer (Flitter will scream back at Sentinel in most instances), he'll just get huffy and pissy and increasingly sarcastic.

There are some members of the Horde that don't look like Screamer/a seeker/spider, like Whirlwind and Starbee. Probably wouldn't give her orange glass a thought. And now that I look at Whirlwind again... Are those antena like things on his head? Forgot about those. Wonder what they do, if anything. The pointy things on either side of his face I remember are two lil' bits of exposed organics that poke out of specially placed holes in his helmet thing.
This would temporarily break him, give him a good case of the weepies.
Poor Nightwail *hugs 'im* At least Wisp and the Horde would do their best to make him feel better afterwards.
*snickers* Sentinel is such a dork. And I love him with Flitter. ^^

Some of the Horde he could assume are Blackarachnia's or Firefly's. (My Firefly-muse is raging at that thought- get over yourself, bug boy.) Actually, I think Screamer might give the orange glass a second thought, he might just dismiss that thought.
The pointy things on either side of his face I remember are two lil' bits of exposed organics that poke out of specially placed holes in his helmet thing.
I always wonder about the organic bits. Right now, I'm wondering where/if Bumblebee has them during his temporary technoorganic stint. Because of Key hijinks, they could have been "absorbed" into his basic protoform, which is why he and Firefly might not have visible bits (and eventually, it becomes moot for him and Firefly goes to the other extreme).
Also, why are we assuming Starscream would attack the Horde? He's not a complete monster. Although he's crap about expressing it or acting in a way that suggests it, he does love Nightwail. (Subconciously, I think he's torn with resentment over Nightwail abandoning him- just like BA- and relief, both that he doesn't have to deal with Nightwail anymore and that a small part of him acknowledges Nightwail is happier this way. Not saying this justifies Starscream at all, just that's what's going on in his processor.) The Horde might horrify him, but I think he'd go the route of expressing that horror, disavowing them, but leaving them untouched. (Unless they provoke him. Then he'd smack them around to teach them a lesson.)
Aren't they just perfect? *snerk* Still need to finish those sketches.

I was trying to imagine his reactions just now for the gazillionth time, when systematically running into random bots of the Horde on some planet, and when I get to Sputter, I was thinking "Yeah, another seeker, he's seen the other two by now" (in my mind anyways) "and they are bigger, and Sunbolt so much brighter" (thus more wtf/omg-ish) till I remember those hearts and goofy face. :3
Because of Key hijinks, they could have been "absorbed" into his basic protoform, which is why he and Firefly might not have visible bits
Oooo, neat!
Also, why are we assuming Starscream would attack the Horde?
I think it's Fireant's fault (or some other member of the horde. Possible more than one). It all began with possibly your pondering what Starscream's reaction would be, and somehow Nightwail was there and being all weepy/cringy. I don't remember what was said but then some Horde baby got mad at Screamer and defended mommy (or daddy, depending which baby is was... this was before we really knew any personalities.) Somehow it morphed into Starscream being the violent one. Weird, huh? This also somehow spun off into talk at one point that Starscream meeting the Horde would be all Spyscream's fault. Don't remember why/how.
Aren't they just perfect? *snerk* Still need to finish those sketches.
Yes! You do!

When he sees Sputter, that is definitely when he throws up his hands and screeches, "What in the name of the AllSpark is going on!" For some reason, I think Jetstream would get to him the most. Probably because Jetstream strikes me as the closest to Starscream's shape. He certainly has the same head.
Oooo, neat!
I'm still working out bits on how Bumblebee works as an organic, how and why Firefly starts as a car rather than a bug. I'm still working out whether Blurr has to run to a car wash every time they get tactile to take care of the smell.
If anyone is going to go crazy and jump Grandma, it's Fireant. I suggested that Spyscream would be the one to track down Starscream and want to get to know him. Maybe Spyscream intentionally (or unintentionally) set up the meeting between Horde and Starscream, let Screamer know the random planet they were on. My mental image was Nightwail being weepy, surrounded by his children all glaring angrily at Starscream for making mom/dad cry.
Maybe this weekend I can work on the sketches again. I think I have a better concept for Flitter now. Anywho, I haven't been on AIM much this week and I won't be anymore with the new work schedule- feel free to note or e-mail me with things, because you may not be able to reach me on IM anymore other than my "weekends" (which are currently Tuesday and Wednesday).

Hehehe, to see Starscream spazzing would be great. And eye-twitches would be fun too. It's always fun when he gets screechy too. ^^
Hehehe. If Blurr did run to the car wash every time, it wouldn't take him too long, being "Zippy." So do the autobots not having anything to hose themselves down with at the plant? Probably not since in some episode someone needed something to put out a fire, then said that OP (who wasn't there) was the extinguisher). Though a factory (abandoned or not) really aught to have an emergency fire hose somewhere. More then one actually.
I figured you probably wouldn't be on much when you told me your new work schedule, but didn't remember what days were your weekend. Now I know. ^^

I would love to see Starscream spazzing. And Nightwail getting weepy as he is a woobie. (Firefly could have been a woobie, but he refuses to be.)
I think I'm not going to do the smell thing just because the AllSpark would show a little more sense in making Bumblebee technoorganic. (Well, it didn't make Bee that way, but it did keep him a car rather than morphing into... probably a "real" bee.) Or he'd smell like whatever might be arousing to an automotive robot. I don't know what is that? Gasoline and new plastic? There's got to be something like a shower head in the factory. The episode you're referring to is "Headmaster" and Bulkhead said this in response to Bumblebee crying for a fire extinguisher. But Bee's an idiot.
See you tomorrow?

I love Nightwail's woobie-ness (it's why I wanna throw babies at him, and hug him), but yay for Firefly refusing to be one! He's so cool. ^^
You're ponderings on what would be an arousing smell to an automotive robot made laugh/giggle/snort. Then I thought "new car smell" ... people seem to like it (don't understand it myself, but my sense of smell sucks except for food and superstink). Though maybe not. Now that I think about, it might more likely be the smell of baby-bots, so it'd be more likely to turn on some parental instinct? *shrugs*
Yep. See me later today. ^^

TavalyaRa In reply to freetre [2009-05-26 19:36:13 +0000 UTC]
Yes, but this just convinces me I really need to write something showing Nightwail being a vicious fighter or a quiet bastard. I think Wisp's understanding of him is that Wailer needs something to balance him and bring the good out in him: and Wisp is that. Firefly doesn't understand that and doesn't realize Wisp is aware of that, leading to him thinking Wispling's just that clueless.
I don't like new car smell. Plastic and leather do not appeal to me. The idea that baby-bots smell like that cracks me up, especially as they literally would be new cars (but what about Flitter, Athene, and other buggy babies?) but it wouldn't turn on a parental instinct. Cybertronians have no parental instinct. It was never put in their programming; reproduction of this sort is a severe deviation from the norm. However, they are all programmed (supposedly) to protect life and Optimus Prime's crew is familiar with parental relationships from observation and developed a sense of it themselves when they had to care for Sari. So, it's a learned behavior.
Looking forward to it!

I think the only thing you really drew purely in show style was the Bulkhead/Prowl pic, maybe some Onekai stuff. Then it sort of morphed to your style which, to be honest, is close enough to show style that in a lot of ways I don't notice the differences. (Some weird helicopter thing? I think really thing and spidery as girl's got a thin frame in robot-mode. Probably not a model that exists on Earth but is functional.)
Nothing really beats Blackarachnia's, "Much as you'd love to give me a face full of foam..." So, that's how Optimus likes it?

I think so too. The Prowl/Bulkhead and the first so-many Oekaki pictures used heavy reference, consciously trying to make it look like the characters, 'cause drawing them was so unfamiliar/alien. Those square portraits in Transoekaki are the first ones to consciously try to push "me" into the pics, while the rest is unconscious style smushing in between TFA and my style? *shrugs* yep.
(Some weird helicopter thing?
Eh, it was you who made the suggestion *shrug* Copter blades be the bows or something like that (the long tails of the bow in back I think). Something will be figured out for Moonglow eventually. Just like something will be figured out for the other Sentinel babies. Yep. ^^

Saw the new Transoekaki- it felt weird to see them on dA first rather than you showing them to me on the Onekai. I miss talking to you! The Blurr/Bee picture is so sweet, but makes me go, "MOAR!"
Moonglow is probably a long, spindly thing. A spider copter! (Yanno... Megatron is the copter, so what the hell? It's too bad we're too far in to just say, "Blackarachnia and Megatron had a baby, don't ask us how!")
I know the forms of the other Sentinel babies- a tick and a tow truck- I just need names and a feel for the personalities.

*snickers* He's probably one of the many babies pulled out all at once, and mommy wasn't able to keep quite such a close eye on what he got up to during his formative years.

So he was one of the Mass? Who is Swindle's partner anyway (the one who pulls them out- I think Swindle is a truely single parent as far as making the spawn are concerned) and how many damn babies were in there?
(I propose it involves the lost Starscream clones, which means Skywarp and Thundercracker. OS accounts for Ramjet, Sunstorm, and She-Who-Is-In-Another-Universe-Called-Slipstream.)
