Physical Description:

A grungy brown tom with wiry, tangled fur. He has flecks of lighter and darker brown trailing down his back and tail and accenting his face. His right ear has a nick in it.
Personality:

A short tempered tom with a knack for taking things a little too seriously, Tanglepath is a bit denser than most. He has very little patience when it comes to things that need to get done. If a hunting patrol is taking too long, he goes out to find his own meal. If a border patrol is lagging, he marches ahead alone and marks the borders himself. The phrase 'if you want it done right do it yourself' is his go-to creed. Being such a busybody, he tires himself out quickly, both physically and emotionally. He doesn't like to stay up late, and hates when chosen to sit vigil or go to gatherings.
Tanglepath is also very prone to assuming the worst. A poorly worded question can be seen as an insult, and he will remain upset until he receives an apology. Giving him constructive criticism is nearly impossible. A conversation with Tanglepath in the mix can end up as a petty squabble in no time. This defensive disposition makes him appear very childish, and when someone brings up his anger he profusely denies it.
History:
Ever since he was a kit, Tanglepath had a little bit of an attitude. He would talk back to his parents, which would earn him cuffs over the ears and heavy scoldings, but he never seemed to learn from them. His moodiness was curbed when he became an apprentice and his mentor refused to deal with his childish attitude. Punishment for misbehaving was scraping fungus from inside the elder's den, and Tanglepath quickly learned to keep his comments to himself around other warriors. However, around other apprentices his more childish side quickly resurfaced, and it was difficult for him to keep friends that didn't enjoy his whining. Feeling undesirable was never his favorite. Instead of realizing it was his bad attitude that drove others away, he blamed the cats around him for pushing him away. Until he realizes the truth his poor excuse of a victim complex will continue to torment him. Being recently promoted to the position of warrior, Tanglepath firmly believes that his life will somehow dramatically change for the better because of his ranking up.
