Description
The SS stands for Senior Show... spelling it out makes the title too long. Here it is. My Senior Show. The culmination of over 4 yrs slaving away in the art program. I was allowed to illustrate some of my Darelian Gods and Goddesses, BUT, they couldn't be "creatures". So I converted them into a pantheon more suitable to human culture. I still couldn't resist having a couple creatures in there. What can I say, humanoids aren't as fun.
This one is Deshka, formerly a God of War, Plague, and Unrighteous Death [link] That picture is ironically appropriate, it was done in 2005, the year I started college, and this illustration is done as I end college. He has been left the same except for his context since his design was already made of nightmares. He is now a beast of plague and pestilence, if you see this creature among the trees or at the edge of your flock, sickness and bad luck are on their way.

Nice concept but could you please submit it again to the Creatures Non-human folder in our gallery.
We do not accept deviations into our featured folder.

Even in a fantasy realm, I'd think from his condition that his "gifts" would be obvious. Time to leave it all behind and move, me thinks. And here's one for you - Your creatures have every bit as much appeal for their anatomy and realistic eye-popping structure as BeastofOblivion's do.

You don't know how awesome you just made me feel. I am a huge fan of beastofoblivion, and to be compared to her work is a HUGE compliment. Thank you!

Even though this creature still has his skin, this makes for an exceptional anatomy focus. The muscles are amazingly tiny stretched over his bones. Im a bit macabre, and I cant hide my love for this picture. His busted and unshod hooves seem to be where my eyes are drawn the most. I love the detail. Great job. <3

This is my favorite one for that reason too. I like drawing creatures with highlighted anatomy, even if I make them a little overly muscly sometimes.
