I was online talking with BeckyKidus and she drew spotted animal and I got the craving to draw spots too - and two more spotted animals are on the sketching-bloc/table... and I have cravings to draw hyenas too - and they have spots so.... it all comes together in logic!
This time I got inspired also from looking back at all the crap that happened to me up until 2020; the red sky represents for me, that danger. It's still lurking but yet it's on the horizon. The trauma lives on in the head but like clouds it is around me and behind me, but not SURrounding me. It's backstage. Away. But still somehow present.... and, sun is going down, and a beautiful night full of diamond like shining stars emerges... oh well, emotional feelings are emotional. So that is said. Sometimes it does good to look back and relive the terror mentally, to better appreciate today...
So have a hyena made with Fabercastell Polychromos! It's half an A4 Hahnemühle paper. Took me a couple of hours over some evenings, and I had fun! ... and seriously, these beautiful hyenas deserve more love
