Done in art class... The task was to illustrate our way of thinking - which is actually impossible in my opinion. I mean, when you try to follow your thinking process, don't you have influence on it the same time and falsify it?
However, I actually followed my intuition...but in the end, I would say this illustration portrays my way of thinking. It is difficult to explain
The work is done in two layers: The first (lines) was drawn on parchment paper with ink and quill and the lower layer is ink wash on watercolour paper.
I'm on my way replying to comments, notes and stuff...I'm not quite sure if I'll accomplish everything, but I have to do it some day.

Von der Form erinnert mich der Streifen an einen schmalen Postit, wie wir sie im BΓΌro immer verwenden. Wenn man vergisst sie vor dem scanen zu entfernen, hat man im Dokument auf der Seite noch den farbigen Streifen. Das waren so meine Assoziationen.

Your consideration is very interesting! I would say instead that, just right for the reason you say, it's possible to investigate and portray the thinking process. I think that this analysis will be very accurate right because you use the thinking process to observe itself! So possible is possible, for me, but there's however a defect: the analysis will not be very objective because you only have a point of view internal of the system analized. To be objective it should be weighted from an internal point of view and an external. But I think the result is still very appropriate.
Really really interesting theme you had! And now I want to ask you: can you explain what does that red line represent? I have an idea about it, but I'm not sure...

Yeah, the objectivity was that what I meant. I totall understand what you mean - of course you can illustrate that exact process, but it would have (at least in my case) another base than when I think in 'normal' situations, since I try to follow the process actively. I mean, I often have the situation when I ask myself 'wait a moment, how did you actually come to that point?', but that's not the same process to the one before anymore...Argh, can't express myself again today.
On one hand, I often ask myself how it would be seeing such a process like on a separate screen, like a virtual and real picture. On the other hand, I think it maybe isn't so productive, since thoughts are - yeah, thoughts. The steadily changing influences, mixed with the knowledge andandand always makes it so individual and unique.
That's why, I think, I interpret it quite 'general'. My thoughts. XD
For the red line: Well, to be prosaic, the first reason it got there was the balance...visually. But if I give it a role now, I would say it is something abrupt and unexpected. Do you know when you sit somewhere and suddenly on sentence or word goes through your head, seeming to come out of nowhere? Not directly a brainstorm or a sudden insight, sometimes just something 'silly'.
But I also interpret it myself in different ways, and I think this is okay. Maybe it is exactly the reason why it is there. 
By the way...yeah, I guess you know it...I didn't forgot your note and e-mail, I'm still writing!
