Wow! Impressive rendering so far. Especially good job with the hair, they're usually a real pain to render I still have tons of problem to get it to look natural. But then again maybe I should start painting from reference more and afterwards start trying from my mind

Thanks. Yes I think its a good start to practice from reference, you simplify the process especially when learning, you can focus on the painting and train your eyes.
