I really need to practice group shots, so I did this. Didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but what can ya do? I guess I'm over all happy with it, except the girl at the top, the kid, and the horn guy. I don't like the way those ones turned out at all.I was going to put a background in, like maybe some design or something circling it off, but I got really lazy so nows ITS ALL WHITE, WOOOO
-- OH MAN JPEG COMPRESSION (was saved as a jpeg before png) wooo yumokay NOW i'm gonna go work on those school assignments and commissions... o3o;;

God, that's freeking AMAZZING (two z's make it better than just amazing.) I try working on group shots but I never end up finishing em because I get bored of them. How many layers do you use anyway? Again, you are fantastic.

Ahhh thanks~ TAT Yeah, they kinda do get boring after a while, but at the same time its not because theres so many diff characters. But then by the near end your just liek "DAMMIT WHY CANT I JUST FINISH THIS ALREADY ATUUGHH" -- so yeah I guess it does get boring Xd;; And I work on one layer most of the time

There's tons of things i love about this pic: the lady's hair has swooshiness, the red-haired kid's turquoise cloak is quickly but expertly done, the blonde guy's neck, horn guy's hair, blue guy's color and attitude, little girl's hair, that lovely smile on the crazy dude (that his eyes are hidden adds to the effect), the white-haired guy is my fave (delicate white and powerful black are contrasted and balanced, he is striking), red-beard's eyes and that metal thing on his cloak (what is that?).

For a first try with torso shots like this it came out great. I can see what you mean about the horn guy, kid and girl on top, but hey, perfection in one go would be scary. I'm fascinated with your coloring, you use Painter or OC?

I used painter 6, 100% watercolor tool on one layer. >A< It gets a little messy in painter because you cant seperate your watercolor layers at all, but then I like it better because in natural media you won't be able to seperate them either though, so maybe it'll help my real painting ~

Pretty cool, the foreground characters are great! The thing that stood out most to me as being a not-so-great characteristic of the background girl is her chin - its poking out a bit too much to match the shape of her lips. Like, if she were sneering, it'd work. As far as the horn guy goes, I dunno, his eyes are a little wonky, but ...I like pretty eyes, so this opinion doesn't really matter at all. >_> Good job. I envy your skills to make things look painty when its digitally created. Yo.

aRUGH I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH HER CHIN. Thank you for pointing that out, I might change it if I ever decide to finish this XD; I think I had her mouth in a different position before I changed it, and never fixed the rest of her face to go with it. But yes, thank you for that XD;; maybe I'll fix the hornguys eyes too, theyre getting on my nerves o3o;;;
