My first animated short in Flash! I know it's been a long time coming, but I felt it was important that I put a good effort into it.
It was made for my character animation module in university, where we were required to make a 15 second long flash under the university's guidelines. I chose Graham the hawk to once again be the lead (like he was in my 3D animated short 'Tough Pluck' from 2007), but I also gave myself a supporting role.
Hopefully I can now inspire myself to making more animated shorts.

reminds me of middle school art class where the assignment was to draw a 3 panel comic.
mine was a Goose named Mikey who was taking karate lessons. He'll appear inΒ his ownΒ webcomic I'm writing this summer.

Wow... great job for a first flash! You've even got sound! Nice job on the animation, too. I really like it when the guy gets hit in the face by his cord!

It's a classic example of a top-up gag, a bit like those old Road Runner cartoons. In this animated short, Graham trips up backwards over his cable, which is your gag, but then the other end of it flys out and hits him in the face to add to the initial gag.

The movement is great, as well as the story. Funny how good ol' Keeny starts having fun after poor Graham's disgrace
