been wanting to redesign him for a while now so here he is, since he's meant to be my representation in this weird little art/fetish niche, I made him a little closer to myself (having my tattoos and piercings, hairstyle etc).took alot of queues from other artists, the main one being who's artwork just looks beautiful, especially when portraying a slightly more natural looking physique.
Made Joey's eyes smaller and got rid of the button nose to reduce the disney-esque 'cute factor' and make him look a little more traditionally handsome and masculine.
still tried to maintain my own artistic flare as well though obviously.
a full re-written character sheet and outfit gallery coming but since I've been gone for a long time I thought I'd just kick straight off with a normal full body pic.

The body anatomy looks great though if I may offer some honest critiques, I'd make the eyes a teensy bit larger. Maybe I just prefer the more expressive Disney/animesque eyes [or maybe the eyes look off because the soft/undefined pupil makes them look somewhat "cataracted/glazed"], I dunno. Also I'd make the nose a little sharper to avoid the button look www.animeoutline.com/wp-conten⦠(though maybe it's just because of the angle)

I'll take on board the glazed eye look thing, but it's always been kind of a signature of my style to not do a defined pupil but I'll give it a go.
and yeah, the nose thing is definitely down to angle and not wanting to have too many lines on the face, if it was from the side it would look far more angular and I've always subscribed to the idea that every line you draw on the face adds a year to the character's age, and he's still meant to be relatively young (though in reality I look far less young despite being the same age, stress, alcohol and class A drugs have seen to that XD).
