Something I did today on a whim after watching/reading some drawing tutorials...I figure I should try these new techniques/coloring style I have learned! I really wanna know how to digital watercolor... but I know I still have to work out my shadow/lighting hehe...My cousin also requested me to draw an angel not too long ago hence the theme of this drawing. Her description were cream-colored hair and outspread wings... and I did none of those... hehe gomen ne cousin! I was just following my instincts lolz
Likewise this also serves as a lineart practice for me... I realized I prefer sketchy than those ridiculously clean linearts... I'm still not used to sketching digitally, but I hope this piece serves as a stepping stone...that I can do pure digital art if I really wanted to...
I also really want to challenge my skills... and I want to prove to myself that I can still draw even after coming from a fairly long hiatus... years long hiatus... and I hope I did!... and I'm going to learn and improve much more... it's never too late...
