Basically, I really like the general idea of the drawing. The concept of a character with blackish hollow eyes, illustrating the motto of comforting darkness can really stand out to the viewer; it's original and in this case, well conceived. I like how the character's ears (or maybe those are hair) are sticking out, as if they were elvish. The strong, thick neck adds up to the idea of a figure who is inbred comforted by darkness. The bangs might also suggest that the character prefers to be hidden from the eyes of others. The grim motif is also pointed out by wried handwriting, as if it was meant to imply there is some evil beyond the picture.

It's generally a well made, solid drawing that might be more than what meets the eye if one is actually to think deeply of it.
