The weather's been pretty stormy around my home lately out here in the westshore of Canada, with lots of rain, wind, and even a little of thunder. One was loud enough to startle me awake in the morning. (Lets just pretend those are giants walking around trying to find a place to stay.)And then i felt the need to draw it, and also draw Owen and Nakia stuck in it. They weren't too prepared for it.
But please don't worry they'll find shelter, somehow.

Maybe do an added drawing of Owen sick from shielding Nakia from the storm, Nakia ending up nursing Owen by a warm fire inside a cave somewhere?? just a guess nothing special <3

Hmm no, not really. Maybe there was one out there, but mostly worked out this pose myself. Though maybe me posing it a few times throughout the drawing session would count. XD

Ah yeah I had a feeling, there's lots of poses that I want to draw but can't exactly find refs for...... Lol by there is always using yourself ad a model! >w< Do you up making faces when doing expressions? I always do without even realizing it. Then my mom or dad asks why I look that way. XD Like if I'm smiling a lot, or frowning.

Lol yes i do that with my face when i'm giving somebody a question. One of the many reasons why i try and draw on my own. XD Though if i'm already in the art zone when somebody walks in i don't care as much what they think i find. >u<

Hurricane Matthew kinda shook up where I live

Oh wow! I love the rain effects you put in, as it really shows the height it has in the sky and against Owen; but the way you drew the storm clouds and trees are pretty good too!
I also like Owen's pose and expression, really shows the deterimation he has to quickly get himself and Nakia to shelter quickly while also making sure that he has a good grip on her as at the wind's strength, she could be blown away and he'd loose her!
Hopefully they'll get to shelter in time before they gain colds.
But then again...it could mean more cuddly and warm GT fluff!Β Β

Well i had some errands i wanted to accomplish so avoiding getting hit by the rain was pretty impossible to avoid.

It's pretty bad, because even though I'm a state away from the states that are being affected by hurricane Matthew, we've been in a drought for over a month and a half now.

I think the most of the storm we're getting over here comes from the winds of Japan or something, somewhere in the Pacific. I don't know if the one is as bad as Matthew but it has knocked down some trees in some areas.
