Sploosh!! Be Free!!Felt like drawing a picture of a merman, and not too long after that i came up with this. Originally planned something different but i think it turned out pretty cool!
Girl is doing the pose from the movie Free Willy, of when Willy is jumping over the boy. X3

hmmm...not sure i want to imagine that. XD lets just say everything goes perfect and he makes it over her since he's pretty skilled at jumping anyways. If not umm...does a barrel roll in the sky to avoid serious trouble! Even though some waves might be caused by him...

Free Willy was a key part of my childhood. Now a days though, kids are more afraid of killer whales because of movies like "Happy Feet" that portray them in a kind of bad light. Makes me sad. 
But yes, this is a beautiful picture and mermen are cool. Nice job.

Yeah it was a big part of mine too, it was one of the movies that i loved to watch when i was little, so much that some parts of the movie are fuzzy on the video tape. X3
But yeah i know what you mean i don't like how todays movies portray them. Sure i know they are great hunters, but they also have neat complex family structures, and are really smart. And not all Orcas eat penguins or seals, the residential whales around where i live mostly only eat fish. So yeah it makes me sad too on how they're portrayed.
But anyways thanks!
