Hmmm...probably from the forest near my home. Think here he was waiting for a turn at the bird feeder. Guess he didn't feel like pecking wood that day. X3

Yep it is. I was surprised when i looked it up too. But that's what it is. Guess that explains though on why it has strong looking claws.

Hmmm....but i think those are the only ones i got today that look the best. All the others are shaky causeeither he was moving or i was shaky with the camera. >3<
Maybe if he likes my feeder he'll come back again another day. Like the resident quail that lives in my neighborhood....though i haven't seen him for a little while...

I am outlandishly envious of your surroundings (at least from the little perspective I have from the pictures.)
It must be so relaxing and mystifying to be in an environment enclosed by nature! It shows in your work

You are? Well thanks. >w< I do like it here where i live. My home is pretty foresty, and green looking. Think it also helps that i live near a natural, provincial park.
Anyways yeah, i think my environment might give me some inspiration for my work. Might be why i'm good at drawing forests and natural backgrounds.

Not a creepy question but what state is this in? I'd love to move to a place this nice in the future

I live in Canada. British Columbia. Where we have provinces instead of states.
And i don't find your question creepy. No worries.

Oh Canada. I should have guessed. Not as many naturally beautiful places left down here unfortunately... And good, I'm glad you didn't take it awkwardly -_-'

Oh it's okay. I sometimes get that question so i'm used to it.
And there's probably still some naturally pretty areas in US aren't there?

SweetIntent In reply to Friendlyfoxpal [2015-02-28 00:44:20 +0000 UTC]

Well, not as many locally. I live in Texas, so I'm used to seeing dirt, cities and a few patches of woodlands here and there.

Ah i see. Well i guess for me i'm used to very green, wet looking conditions. With some older style looking buildings if i head to the city. Although there are some newer ones too.
