Description
Once again another roleplay based off a roleplay i'm doing with my dragon character Kindle holding her character Vesper in a protective way even though they just met pretty much here. While theres some possibile not as nice giants coming into view.I really liked how i drawed and colored this.

this scene...no offense but it reminds me of an rp im doing with omrah im tiny and hes protecting me after scaring the heck outta me. reminds me of just before he runs full speed to get away from somthing in the distance.

i was running and also in a way running from him but not really. i fell and twisted my ankle and he's become really protective of me. im a micro and hes basically normal

They are a good match. And he's a totally sweetie and he's awesome.
I just realized I forgot to describe the clothes she had... I was planning on her having a yellow sleeveless sundress that's in a bit of rough shape from all the running. *shrug* But can't really see much of what she's wearing anyway because his hand is cupped around her.

And yeah i realised that too once i started adding her in. But i just decided to take a slight chance and guess considering how his hands were holding her anyways.

Well the picture looks great. Makes me think of shortly after he caught her and was talking to her when they could hear some of the screams of other humans. When he reassured her he wasn't like the others out there, and was just pressured into coming with.
I kinda pictured it like his friends had probably tried to get him to come along on several of the hunting trips. Maybe they finally told him something like, 'Just come along once, try it out for yourself, and if you decide you don't enjoy it, we'll stop bothering you about joining us on these outings.'

Yeah i did picture this scene to take place in that scene, think it helps that i tried to give them both tense looks. Probably both hearing the other screams out there and stuff.
Oh yeah! that sounds like something that might have happened with his friends bugging him to come along. And figuring this would be a way for them to stop pushing his buttons decided to come along that day, and thats how he ended up meeting Vesper.

However, that means they'll probably stop by to find out if he enjoyed it, if he actually tried to participate and find out if it was fun. And if he didn't event try to participate in the fund they might start bugging him again. 'How will you know if its fun or not if you just went along but didn't even try a little hunting?'

Hmm oh yeah, that might happen. Maybe Kindle will try and fake it and tell them a lie, and making sure they don't find Vesper in the process. Getting her to hide in or behind something like his treasure collection, since his friends should know, unless they are not very smart to mess with a dragons treasure.

Not smart to mess with a dragon's treasure... But would he want anyone near his treasure, even her? Or would it be as if he started to see her as somewhat part of it? *snickers* That could be a little awkward...

And hmmm i don't know, but maybe he doesn't mind for the fact that its her, showing her that he trusts her just as much as she does to him. Plus if he knows if thats the best way to protect her.

Perhaps its just the instinct to protect his treasure doesn't tie into her because she's what would normally be 'prey'. Separate instincts, he would see others like himself as a threat to his treasure, but because of her being human, the instinct to guard his treasure doesn't focus on her. But then again, if instinct doesn't direct him to protect his treasure from her, he may have minor issues with it refocusing on her as what should be prey. There's all sorts of ways it can go. Or he could actually see her as part of his treasure, which could make him a little over protective.

Hmmm i think i see you're point with what you are saying. Though there could be plenty of reasons for his actions, whether he sees her as treasure or something else entirely who knows. Even i don't know sometimes, hehe sometimes i think some characters of mine control me a little when i write from their point of view. Kindle's one of those characters.

It's like that with some of my characters too. They seem to just develop a mind of their own. I just see it as a sign of a well developed character.

The character that is probably the worst about seeming to have a mind of his own isn't even a primary character, he's a secondary character that I never meant to do much with. Zoltan the Raven. He's an ornery shit.

Oh a companion? Interesting, and i also wonder how he'll react to Levon's presence too. Since Levon is innocent, but not everybody would know that right away until they get to know him long enough.

Zoltan is quite protective of Tess. He's also very clever- When the brother got back he was clawed up by a dragon and missing an eye... the eye wasn't the dragon. That's Zoltan's specialty. Luckily he's smart enough he doesn't do severe damage until he's certain someone has hurt Tess or is about to. Until that point, he'll give 'warning shots' to make a point. *starts on replies and plans out Zoltan's arrival*
