Description
.....Working titleThought about this concept a little while ago thinking it would look pretty cool. Of my characters Chome and Poppy, with him protecting her from something that's also in the woods with them. What sort of thing? I don't know quite yet.
Had fun playing are with the color schemes in this one and the shadowing.

Chrome: Hmmm....good point...but i guess this is a good thing then, you can just stay around here till i come back *says as he hurries a shore desprete to get back to his friend*
Poppy: *laughs lightheartedly as she sits up and starts rubbing at her face and ears like a rabbit would when grooming* ah hehe yeah it will be so fun!!

Wood Cutter: What!?!? Just leave me here!?!
Ya! It's always nice to have fun from time to time! *Jumps ontop of Poppy's shoulder again. Walking from side to side*

Chrome: Yeah.....is there a problem with that? *Chrome asked as he eventually made it and went to set the man down on some grass*
Poppy: Mmmhmm! agreed especially if I don't have to worry about that Wood Cutter anymore. No longer have to worry about somebody wanting to make me into soup or...wanting my feet. *she said knowing that some liked to believe rabbit foots made goodluck charms.*

*Pats Poppy's head* Well even if he was still here, I bet Chrome wouldn't let that ever happen to you! Like he has said multiple times before!
Wood Cutter: Yes! How can I protect myself out here!?!

Poppy: Ah hehe yeah i know he wouldn't, he's already proved me enough that we wouldn't ever hurt or let anything happen to me. *she says smiling happily at both the patting and the little memory in her head.*
Chrome: Hmmm...i think you'll manage fine. *says doing a little stretch before focusing on the direction of Poppy's grandmothers house.* anyways i hope i can get there on time!

Hehehe you two are cute together~ owo *Says while pushing on one of Poppy's ears that was close by.*
Wood Cutter: *Grunts as he tries to get loose* Your to late Wolfy boy! They are both long gone now! Or at least Poppy is!

Chrome: I-I am?? On no Poppy! *worried goes to randomly dith the Axe man for now to start running towards the house*
Poppy: giggled when her ears were pushed and went to poke Spotted Tail while blushing* heh you think so?

Wood Cutter: HEY! ..... *Starts to try and get out of the bondage but fails* Uhhhhh.....
*Eyes narrow and he paws at Poppy's hand that poked her tail* Yes! yes I do~ ^w^

Chrome: *ignoring him and going as fast as a giant wolf boy can go through the forest*
Poppy: *giggles some more when she'ws pawed back, and getting playful gets up on all fours and starts to hop away from the other. Waiting to see if the other will chase her*

*Starts to chase Poppy around but starts to slip around alot, ending up missing Poppy a few times* Hey! Get back here.... *Looks around for someone to try and help her catch Poppy*

Poppy: *just simply keeps giggling and bounces away* hehe not until you can catch me!! *she says with a big grin*

You asked for it! *Spotted said as she crouched down again and sprinted after her, using her claws to keep her from slipping. But keeping note that if she caught Poppy, to retract her claws so she didn't hurt her*

Poppy: *giggled and kept hopping away form the other being quite the sqrinter when she wanted to. During their chase, Chrome soon appearing on the seen and pausing a moment to take in what he saw. From his point of view seeing Spotted chasing Poppy with her claws out. It looked like to him that Spotted was trying to catch and hurt his little bunny. His eyes going wide at the scene*
Chrome: Ah! Poppy! *he howled in panic running to catch up wanting to go save her*

*Spotted's eyes narrowed as she saw Chrome running towards her. Fur bristling out of instinct as she ran as fast as she could. Having a strange feeling as being chased as a hunt instead of having fun now. She soon shift into her anthro form and continued the run on two legs.*

Poppy: *turned her head slightly while sprinting at the voice looking confused* Chrome?
Chrome: *running on all fours. His large frame quickly gaining ground, going for Spotted* Don't hurt Poppy!!!

Hurt Popp- What are you talking about?!? *Spotted yelled at him as she waited till he got closer. Jumping up to try and jump over him. Not liking to be chased.*

Poppy: *paused in her running and stood a little distance away looking stunned and confused*
Chrome: *goes to try and halt in his running digging feet into ground when the other leaped over him. Glancing over* y-you were just chasing Poppy! You had your claws out and everything!

That's cause I was chasing her... for fun! As in a game of chase! And I had by claws out because I kept slipping *Spotted said with a lash of her tail as she jogged backwards a bit. Trying to keep her distance.*

Chrome: A...Game? But you were thinking of eventually harming her weren't you? When i have my back turned *he asked dropping the 3rd person while he was being serious*
Poppy: Eh?? Chrome? What are you talking about? she wouldn't do something like that...

*She flicked her tail again and perked her ears up in defense.* Yes a game! Why would I want to harm her if I was the one that offered to help you guys out! *She asked and narrowed her eyes. Not liking to be accused of being 'evil'*

Chrome: Uhhh....umm...c-cause y-your not just some random cat....
Poppy: *blinks before frowns and crosses arms* Chrome...what kind of things did that man say to you?

Of course I'm not some randome cat! *Turns into animal form and then shifts into human form before having cat tail and ears reappear again* Does it look like I'm some random animal? *Crosses arms at Chrome and lets tail sway side to side. Waiting for an answer from both questions.*

Chrome: U-uhh...no...*his ears dropped a bit calming down slightly* and umm...t-the man said that you might be tricking me...

Why would you even think of believing one word that man says Chrome!?! .... wait... if he got you to believe that.... don't tell me he isn't on that island yet!!!

Chrome: *ears quickly go on alert and becomes nervous* uhh....he....might not be on it right now....*rubs at the back of his head*
Poppy: W-what? You didn't?....Chrome....
Chrome: *goes into more alert and slight panic with Poppy scoulding him* h-hey i left him still tied up....so there's nothing to worry about...

Wood Cutter: *Has gotten his feet untied but not his hands now*
Chrome! He Is a wood cutter! He has the strength! Remember he held you down!

Poppy: Yeah he's still pretty strong...
Chrome: Uh oh....*ears wilt*.....t-though there's no way he'd mess with us again would he? *sounding hopeful. *

..... GO GET HIM CHROME! *Tries to push him to go find the Wood Cutter and finish what he was sent to do*

Chrome:....you want me to go fetch him and bring him back? *asks with a tilted head. Not just a wolf that liked playing fetch*

Nooooooooo no no nonononononono You need to go find him and take him to the island that you were suppose to put him on!

Poppy: Yeah you need to before he harms someone.....and don't be fooled by his words either. *goes to hug Spotted* Spotted wouldn't do anything harmful to us got it?
Chrome: *blinks before nodded* i-i got it...i won't listen to him and will go put him on that island!

*Is surprised by the hug and flinches, not liking hugs. But then nods to him* Well hurry Chrome! He might already be free mostly!

Chrome: *takesnote of both their serious faces before quickly nods* ah i'll be on my way! *he said quicky not wanting to get on their bad side before turning and bolting out of there back towards the shoreline.

*Facespalms forehead* I hope your boyfriend makes it there on time Poppy!
Wood Cutter: *Walks around searching for a way to get his hands untied*

Poppy: *looks worried* y-yeah i hope so too...even though he's a pretty fast runner...
Chrome: *panting as he makes his way through the woods, using also his nose to help guide him around. Making the ground shake a little in his movements.*

Wood Cutter: Oh great! *He said as he started to run after feeling the ground shake.*
Eh... well even if he does get away, I don't think he would mess with you all again =3

Poppy: Ahh hehe yeah hopefully and probably he wouldn't...especially since Chrome would be a bit more confident now.
Chrome: *the shaking continued til lthe wolf boy came into view, pausing to sniff the air before his silver gaze turing to look at the axe man* ah ha!! there you are! Where do you think you're headed? *he says with a growl as he charged at him in full speed.*

Poppy: oh ummm....i was out in an open area one day picking some flowers for Granny. When he suddenly appeared before me from out behind some shrubs, since he had been secretly watching me i think....and upon seeing him the first time i sort of ran...*she said in a sort of embarassed way* since at the beginning i only saw him as a wolf that was out to harm me...

he probably only wanted to say hi! But at least you are friends... or more than friends now!Β
But one question. Why does everyone assume wolfs are bad!?!? There really not!

Poppy: Yeah.....at least we are friends now....after a few meetingsΒ I learned it was okay to trust him. Especially....since he helped warn me about that man that one time...even though I didn't believe him at first...*she said softly before looked over at Spotted* a-and I don't know....I-it's just that i'm a rabbit....s-so i'm normally on the bottom of the food chain....and he's a wolf who's on the top so I thought he was planning to hurt me that day...

Mmhm, that is always good! No one deserves to be without a friend! But I can understand why you wouldn't believe him at first. Cause the whole, 'the boy who cried Wolf' fable XD *Starts to laugh a bit before looking back up at Poppy and crosses her arms.* Food chain, smood chain, I'm a cat and you don't see me running from a dog... or wolf, so to say! You can't always judge a book by it's cover. I have meet a giant that was afraid of someone my size before!Β

Poppy: Mmmm *nodded at this before she softly smiled at her new friends words. Knowing she was right, even if she figured this out a bit ago.* yeah...you shouldn't always judge them just because they start out scary....they could end up being really nice...and save your life. *remembering one time when she wasn't suspecting the axe man had let him come too close...and almost ended up on the menu if it wasn't for the wolf. she then looked at Spotted curiously* y-you have a giant?....who's scared of our size? *trying to picture that but having a hard time.*

*meanwhile Chrome had managed to recatch the Axe man and had finally this time got him to the islnad* there we go, you can't harm any body *states with a wagging tail feeling like he's done a proper deed this time* and no words you'll say will get me to change my mind about you staying here, or changing my views on somebody.

Mmhm, that is a great life lesson right there! But ya! His name is Scotty, but if you stare at him for to long he starts to get nervous and then hides. Although I don't like messing with him, cause that is his phobia and it is kinda mean to do that.... But ya! That is why he us scared of humans! because we stare to much at him!
Wood Cutter: B-but didn't that cat girl try to hurt your friend!?! I mean uuuuuuuhhhh *He gave up on trying to say stuff. Instead he went to try and ram into Chrome, but tripped over himself.*

Poppy" Scotty? Hmmm...h-he sort of sounds like me.....s-since i can be jumpy....although i guess i'm better at eyecontact them him...from the sounds of it.
Chrome: Nooo....she didn't she didn't try anything at all. And because you made me believe Spotty was bad you made Poppy yell as me and look uneasyΒ at me...*he said not liking Poppy staring at him like that sort of reminded him of when they met. He blinked and glanced over as he saw the man try and run over to him but fell over* umm....what are you doing?

Wood Cutter: If I am going to be stuck here I might as well take you down with me! *He said as he struggled to his feet to try and tackle Chrome again. Not caring for what he was saying now.*

Poppy: ah hehe yeah I bet he is. Since you're friends with him he must be. And is he someone you can count on to be there for you?
Chrome:*with the ropes around the man slowing him down slightly, easily went to evade the man's attempts to tackle him* yep you are going to be stuck here. But I have Poppy so I wouldn't want to stick around here for you* says turning to go head for the shore, to leave him there.*

Poppy: Really? so if you called out his name he would appear right away? *asked with ears sticking up slightly interested.* and that's good that he's always there for you...just like how Chrome most of the time is there for me.
Chrome: *ocean water licking his toes before he stopped to look over* no i think you're fine just where you are. you just need to cool down...*he said glancing up briefly at the sky* why don't you have a nice shower. that'll help. *he said before jumping into the water*
