Like I said in my journal yesterday, I'm going to make some Colonel Sun covers. This is the first, a Colonel Sun cover in the style of Thomas and Mercer's Ian Fleming novels. You can view that entire set here , tell me how mine fits in (Hopefully well).

I actually ended up making two versions of this cover, since I couldn't really decide which I liked better. This was the second version I made. Check out the first version , and tell me which you like better, because I still can't decide.

Anyway my plan was to do a cover in the style of Vintage's Fleming novels, but to my surprise I discovered that they had already done that, it just doesn't publish until October/November! So curses. Next I'll probably do a Colonel Sun cover in the style of the Pegasus/Orion John Gardner reprints. See a sample of those covers at the designer's website.
