FULL DISCLOSURE: This isn't a painting, I just know how to use photoshop and have a substantial amount of patience. The smudge tool is handy.I'm rather pleased with the casting of Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor, to be honest. But I really, really don't want Capaldi to go. By the way, really don't know how I feel about the background of this image. This is the best I've come up with, and I am pleased, I just feel like it could be better.
By the way, there's 3 images combined together to make this: The background, 13's clothes, and her head. I know, magic right?

That's awesome! Any form of art is still art. The smudge tool is no exception, what matters is the vision of the artist.
If you want a clearer background, you have the TARDIS from Hell Bent tooΒ (you mentioned that you were uncertain about the background).

I considered the Hell Bent TARDIS, but I couldn't find a screencap from an angle I liked to I used the original TARDIS recreation from An Adventure in Space and Time. If I owned Hell Bent in some form I'd skim it and take a screencap of my own, but alas.
