part of some Idea generations done for a magical realism project, drawn without any refeence which is why Im so proud of this little thing, done all from my mind c:though the final piece is done it dosent look as good as this little sketch (do final pieces ever?) (final version: [link] )
I picked a dead blue tit because the previous day I had seen one, dead birds always fasinate me

I saw a little bird like that. It was a European Golden Finch. I felt so sad but I hadn't felt that way with any other dead bird I saw. Just that one. I ended up burying it under a bougainvillea bush :')

I learned that seeing a dead bird symbolizes the end of a bad relationship. I just thought that was interesting. This is a really cool drawing, by the way. I love the feathers on the belly and the beak, in particular.

I love it, firstly its really really well done. Dead birds always catch my interest too, I think because they are always in flight or hopping around. Basically the epitome of life. Singing, chirping, flying , moving. Then to see one laying there dead, its so unnatural and out of place! (although in another way it is natural since death is natural lol)
In any case great job, and it is also a unique picture that speaks volumes!
