Description
Here is me attempting the One Piece style with my character Berla.I decided to go with a slime character after discovering this character while doing research for this: [link]
I found her power interesting, and wanted to attempt a slime character in this style... Though I am unsure how well I did there, you can be the judge. o.o
Style belongs to Eiichiro Oda, the artist of One Piece, and character belongs to me.

On its own this is pretty good, but I dunno if it captures the style of One Piece all that well.
But in all honesty I consider that a good thing, I always found One Piece to look a little "crude" in most cases, at least the anime.

Well not a good thing for me, since I am trying to copy it. But yeah, I feel my pic here is lacking as well in that regard. I think it would have been better if I didn't opt to do a slime for it, just because of the limited material I have to go on for it.

I say that its a matter of the texture, most One Piece characters have hard rigid lines while slimes tend to be round and corner-less.
That and you didn't use a cartoonishly big mouth, all One Piece characters either have huge mouths or tiny heads.

Well I tried to color it like the only slime from the show, which I linked to in the description. They are done different than the other people in the show, at least in their slimy form.

I think that you got the coloring down, but the detail is...dare I say it... too much.
But then again maybe the budget picked up later on.
