Okii tbh bc Malick runs a well known herbal shop, and he lives in the back of it, maybe your bird comes to visit a lot and it seems like it's super evil but tbh they're just like

oooh a herbal shop is quite neat though! Arvis makes clothing and small trinkets in his spare time but I haven't 100% decided on it though :0

Same here omg, like he tries to be a meanie but he's too silly and clumsy to seem intimidating.
I wanted Malick to be like a black mage type of characters but I know using magic for uncorrupted folks is a no no.. so herbal shops it was!!
