Is there any chance of you posting how you do your lines? Like a tutorial or an obscure step-by-step? I envy your line transperency! I must have it! Do you work strictly in pencil, then ink digitally or what?

Nope. Everything is straight up pencil. I do not ink digitally (not nuff hand skill for that... Lucky I can do much.. When younger I shattered both of my wrists at the same time doing something stupid @_x; )
Anyway... The sketchiness normally done in linework and pencil is taken out by several steps.. One.. doing all your sketchy work in "non photo" blue or red lead... then go over your lines with .03 pencil and work up on your line weight as need be.
Then when you get it into photoshop ..duplicate the layer. (having scanned in grayscale) and go to the new copied layer, and drop it to "Hard Light" ... this'll remove mistakes/light lines, and sharpen your firm lines ;3

Ooooh! Okay, I see. I've heard of the red and blue lead trick before. Sounds hard. Pencil just doesn't behave like ink. Pencil is wild and free, while ink is a stern and clean taskmaster. And now I'm anthropomorphosizing. So just drop to "Hard Light", as opposed to tweaking your Levels settings?

I love the fur, and all the detail. You have very nice generous strokes and a good sense of balance.
I've noticed you and I get better results using an open hand and more fluid, free flowing strokes. That's probably why some of my drawings can be done in half an hour as well.
