it's super great you like ponies again, and for the same reason i do too! your pony stuff always got a bigger kick out of me because i'm more familiar with it. anyways,
the movie also came out, though i'm not too huge a fan of that. have you seen it?

i didn't watch it in a theater, but i did see it. it wasn't too noteworthy to me personally, i liked tempest shadow though. i always liked drawin mlp stuff cus their simple uniform design translates really well into the style i use

I still think the movie is ok, but it's worth noting that it doesn't expect it's audience to have seen the show at all, so it kinda rehashes a lot of basic parts of it and a lot of the characters act OOC when you compare it to the show.
but it has some decent songs and I like most of the newly added side characters and stuff. id say if ur into shipping just watch the very end for Tempest and Twilight shipping stuff cus that's probably the biggest takeaway i see ppl talking about from the movie lol

The concept art for the movie (released as a book) showed that they initially wanted to tie in more TV continuity, but lots of ideas were scrapped, some because they weren't exactly child-appropriate (this location has "the skeleton of a dragon impaled on a sharp mountain as the townspeople harvested its crystal heart" - literal quote). They wanted Scorpan to be in it, and Tempest was originally envisioned as Cosmos, the exiled sibling of Celestia/Luna, which would be a big reveal. There's a lot changed and it's a great read if you're interested. Lots of detailed and obscure art.

the first time i changed it was just cus i wanted to get rid of the old pony name i had for years, but i couldnt think of variation of my original username that i liked so i just bit the bullet and changed it, but then i remembered i could just put a 2 at the end of it

i probably got like a couple thousand pageviews from mr solar sands' small youtube channel. ppl know me from my own hussle, not some kid on youtube who gets views through other ppl's work and half-baked cynical commentary.
