[link] < That's what I do most of the time. This one I didn't have to though, because it didn't have transparency. I pretty much just saved this one as a jpeg at zero quality.
As for getting it to look a certain way, it really depends on how you color it. I like to use the spray can in mspaint to get the crunchy texture effect. Different values with the spray can and I cut it up with a brush. It also depends on how sharp the image is - I usually use an unsharp mask on it, to a moderation.

I know it might seem hard to put effort into this when your only recognition is "lol this is so disturbing xDDD", but there are people, myself included, that genuinely love your artwork. Do it for us.
