I am not a good critic of artwork, and usually I don't know enough about art to see much in it, but there is so much in such a simple piece. I really appreciate the continuity of the strokes despite the break from the horizon. It all feels very centered even though the subjects aren't. The interpretive openness of this piece makes it very inviting and provocative. Basically, it's a fave.

That's great. I love the burnt orange and colours, the distance created by the horizon and the sillouete figuers.
