i love the shot!! my god, like i adore this shot, but i don't really like the concept behind it.
you've created this picture which is anti-slavery, which is great - don't get me wrong, but i think the way in which you've done it is slightly racist. (no offense intended!! please don't kill me!!) the only reason i say that because its the black slave idea, and well yeah its an important issue but its is such a eurocentric concept .. if you were going to take the concept of slavery it should be all slaves, not just one particular race of slaves

yeah i know, its just me, im majorly sensitive about this kinda stuff, white people get kidnapped overseas and sold into protstituion and the like. people just aren't as aware because people in power don't really want us to know.
its just one of those thing im really passionate about, i may have been a little over the top, sorry *sheepish look*

I'm writing a term paper on slavery btw..
Slaves built most of what we know as the strongest countries today,both economically and culturally.I find it strange but it's true.

love the aluminum foile, makes you think of the consumerist society... like the screaming mouth.
to me it looks like a statement of the closure imposed by society, closure that is so superficial and so stupidly and vainly materialistic, that there isn't even a real wall there, we've come to be so weak that we can't get past the surface of the "produce", past the tin foile, and we're all encastrated in one tin foile, each one in his own, like we're chicken in a microwave.
we're all clockwork oranges: a juicy, full of life fruit, that's somehow been twisted to work mechanically. slaves.
